I have a friend who has the port wine birthmark on atleast 1/4 of his face. It starts on his left forehead and goes down over his nose and around his cheek, down to his neck. As time goes it gets darker and grows larger. He said his doctor said that for ever 1 blood vessel he should have in one place, there are 1,000. He has to be very careful and not cut his face or he could bleed to death. He has a joke about it, he says" I'm ugly but I'm friendly", He has a great personality.

Why do most dubyas feel it is necessary to get a new dress...

I was raised very poor growing up. I remember this one time I was very upset that we had no money to buy a new dress for the convention, I cried and cried myself sick. My non-witness uncle asked me what was wrong and I told him. He took me to the mall and bought me a new dress just so I wouldn't feel left out. I look back now and understand how rediculous it was but when you are 16 years old I seemed very important. All your friends have new dresses except you. I look back and think how it was just all a big fashion show.

come on, leaving the org for being "materialistic" is one of the best ways to go.

My life since I left the borg has been very rich with love and friendships that are lasting. I have a great husband, a nice home, friends who love me for who I am, not how many hours I put in field service. Most of all I am rich beyond compare because of the love of my lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He doesn't care if I put in 1 or 20 hours in service. If I make mistakes, He is there to lift me up and is easy to forgive. I never received that at the kingdom hall. I am blessed beyond all understanding.

Thank you all very much. It has not turned out to be a very good day. I woke feeling fine, but, as the day went along I started to feel bad. I now ache from head to toe and have a head ache and a sich tummy. I didn't get to go out to eat with my hubby or anything. I feel so bad. Oh well.
