Yes a little of the jw's does still linger but I shed most of my Jw past.
so last night the wife is working, the kids are getting ready for bed and i'm watching futurama.
doorbell rings.
now it's dark, snowing and i live on a back road, so it's very odd to have a visitor.
That used to happen to us a lot when we left in 2008 and more so in 2009. The jw's would just come and try to kindly convience my family to come back. Today that happen's on very rare occasions.

I agree I am been out since 2008 and I still struggle with Jw conditioning. I also have to fight the tendency to see bad news as a sign of the times. By studying history and science I see that things in fact have gotten much better.I also try to be more critical of politcal and religous groups.
i try to keep my hands clean regularly and stay away from areas and people that i know are sick.. i have never gotten a flu shot and i do know that many that do get one, get the flu anyway.. still, the flu is considered very very bad this year..
By next month this outbreak will finally be over with.
what are the witness saying about the this current outbreak we are in?
