Lord of the Flies
by d inhas anybody here read lord of the flies.the book is by william golding and he takes during a world war and it involves 12 boys lost on an island.anybody i like the book because it describes very well human nature at it's worst.
that deep down we are savage humans bent on killing and destruction.
the book also made me think that children are not as innocent as we make them out to be.people can do evil to one another if law and order did not exist..

I am thinking about voting
by Bucholz inso, i am thinking about voting for the first time in my life.
even though there is a questions from readers article that basically mentioned it is a conscience matter, we all know what the unwritten rule is.. problem is, even though i'm mentally out, i'm still physically in.
do you think that if i'm seen at the polling station by the witnesses i could suffer any consequences?

I think voting is pointless in this day ans age because big business controls everything. voting is just recycling and turning the same garbage. In the end nothing will change. Democrat or republication are exactly two of the same.

Do You Feel Somewhat Liberated When You Talk About Your JW Past?
by minimus ini do.. when i tell people that i was a witness, nobody can believe it!
i enjoy telling them why i left the religion, the harm they cause, and the benefits of being out of it.. do you express yourself in this way too or is it only me?.

I first for state governor in CT in 2010. But overall, I feel that voting is pointless the powers that be will do whatever they want.

I am a lot more politically involved and more outspoken on many issues. I see that relgion is evil but I am not trying to attack anybody's personal beliefs. I am a lot happier.

I do not believe in God because of lack of sound evidence. I think God is just a manifestin of the human subconscious he exists in the mind in my opionion of the mentally distrubed.I think as time goes on, and science becomes more advanced, God will cease to exist and this will prove to help move our society onward.Religion is a cancer on to the world.

People are like a living walking virus. I like people in ever decreasing amounts. I realize this as I get older.
