Now here are some stories I hope Fred Hall gets to read.
I like cats, too. Thanks.
it was sufficient for a single person such as myself, and i went about making it livable.. i got me a dog, weasel which i have written about and i then got me a couple of cats.
this story is about how i acquired my first two cats.. i worked at a company where cats kinda got taken to and left.
they were kinda wild after a while and other cats were born well, you know how it goes.. there was this one cute little female calico kitten that i would take lunch scraps to and others would also put out little bowls of milk for.. i started trying to get her confidence talking to her and letting her hear my voice.

a while back, i told of my wife going by our old kingdom hall and surprised to see an american flag hanging by the window.
i thought this was picture worthy news, and some of you agreed.. well it turns out the congregation sold the hall to a phillipino church.
1. they doing business with babylon.
Valis,
Are you from the Bossier City/Shreveport, Louisiana area? Of course, I
suspect people from Texas and Arkansas as well go there to gamble.

In the business world one is not required to sell only to those
of one's religious persuasion. Churches of varying denominations sell to whomever they will and these same buildings often times end up serving other purposes than originally intended. Is it not unfair to expect JWs to sell only to their own?
i can't find the words that would express how grateful i am for all the support, not only for all of you to back me on the dateline show but for my trial as well.
i don't think i would have had the courage to go through the trauma if it wasn't for all your prayers and encouragement.
dateline was a huge help for many and i know this because i have recieved quite a few calls, one from a current jdub who wants out for the safety of his 16 month old baby, i was so excited that he lifted the veil and saw it for the pure truth that it was.
Well done, Erica. Your courageousness will have an impact for
years to come. I believe that going public will force the
Watchtower to re-examine its current policy and changes will
have to be made. The problem is not going away until they do
something about it. Others will just keep coming forward as
you did.
you can read my bio to find out a little about me.
basically, i need support.
even after two years, i still think.
According to James 3:1, our former teachers (the Watchtower Society)
should have more reason to fear than we do. "Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we shall receive heavier
judgment."

an excellent radio show interview with andrew holden discussing his new book 'jehovah's witnesses' is available as the transcript at http://www.abc.net.au/rn/relig/spirit/stories/s562491.htm it's not at all negative, just quite an accurate account of what they're about basically from their side.
for example he discusses their rationalist approach to religion and so on.
they also interview a city overseer, (presumably) a pioneer and a counsellor for ex-jw.. recommended reading.
Just finished reading the interview. Thanks for
making it available.
others on this board have mentioned that the jw's have dismissed erica's interview as "lies" because she wore a cross.
i didn't even notice the cross as i was busy concentrating on what she was saying.
however, in dubville, one must quickly discredit what a perceived opposer is saying or doing.
Well, Jim, it's like this. If you can't "beat" the Internet, you
might as well join it!

Everything I read on the Witness site is offered in defense or
vindication of their stance. No contrite acknowledgement of
fault or failure on their part. But that will not suffice.
The problem will not go away by wishing it away or explaining it
away.
was written next and makes a brief mention of the resurrection and ascension; which includes a conspiracy theory about the body being stolen (matt.
where did jesus first appear?
where else did jesus appear?
Thanks Annie for reminding me of that passage. I had forgotten
it. The reason for their return visit is right there in Luke!
No need for speculation on my part.
