  with further study and meditation , the holy spirit has guided the governing body to the evident reality that the year 1914 was a symbolic enthronement of jesus christ to his heavenly kingship .

  jehovahs witnesses worlwide rejoice at this new understanding , empowering them to be even more determined to spread these pearls of truth to those moaning and groaning in this wicked system of things.

  rom.8:22. some have wondered , even had doubts about the ever increasing numbers who now seem to be partaking of the wine and emblems at the lords evening meal ( memmorial ) celebration held annually .. we are pleased to announce that this too has been clarified by holy spirit , with study and meditation , and we can now announce that the 144000 is in fact a symbolic number and not to be taken as a literal number as previously thought .. we , the g.b.

  I intend to take notes on the cult programming just to see how far the GB are going to push their propaganda this year. Social drinking will be at our hotel after the assembly and never in public and a good time to talk to wifey.

  I may have to take up heavy drinking during and after ass-embly to help numb my brain. I am stuck in due to family obligations and to prevent financial loss. I am still hoping that something will click in my wife's head and wake her up. I hate this high control cult.

  We have card games every week in our home and they are not harmful and is considered a relaxing time for family.

  so my daughter is coming home from uni next week for the easter hols.

  if she said to me i've joined this group that says i have to put them before my family, my health, earning money for food, recreation, getting married and eating.

  My wife said she wanted to attend a second summer ass-embly this year to get more out of it. I said one ass-embly is enough. I hope she wakes up this year due to all the cult talks. I plan on visiting the local hotel bar daily to help relieve the stress.

  Crisis of Conscience no longer available for Kindle?

  i noticed that both of franz's books were available through amazon.com in kindle format a few months back.

  that no longer seems to be the case.

  anyone have any knowledge as to why they are no longer available through kindle as an ebook?.

  I ordered CoC from Amazon and have to wait untill late March or early April to get it. It's on back order and I sure hope I get a copy.

  International Conventions for 2014 - Landover, MD - What is an International Convention?

  have been out of touch for a while, i see that there is an 'international' convention this year in landover, md (fed ex field) and there are no english conventions in either richmond or hampton, va. what is an 'international convention', is it merely a consolidation of all the other conventions meant to whip up some fervor amongst the masses?.

  It's a money maker. Last year in January we had a finacial resolution to donate money to help special delegates to travel to International Conventions world wide. The WT$ must have made at least one billion dollars from the sell off of their New York properties. It's never enough.

  Donations - how much is normal?

  how much would a well-off witness be expected to donate?

  my wife has just withdrawn a few hundred pounds from her account and refuses to tell me why so i suspect she plans to donate it as she hasn't donated for a while because she knows i don't want our money going to the organisation.

  is it likely that she is feeling under pressure to make a large donation?.

  My wife forks out $1200 - $1300 a year to the WT$ and receives a tax receipt. I donate $0.0.

  New congregation accounting system

  i'm sure i read a thread here about the new congregation accounting procedures.

  i ask because i handle the accounts in our cong and in our part of the world the new accounting system has just arrived whereby local congs do not have their own account any longer, but all funds outside of basic monthly costs is forwarded to an account controlled by the org.

  this is causing huge confusion in our cong as we have to work out how much we need to keep back for monthly costs and the new idea is that you send all your extra cash to the org and if you need it back you can ask for it but we don't know how easy or hard it would be to do that.

  Any extra funds you have just send it to headquarters The GB will generously invest your money. Money is evil, but dont't worry about it.
