What does everyone here DO anyway?
by In_between_days inhi everyone,.
i am a new poster who is putting off their own personal story of finding this site for a while..... i find alot of people here utterly fascinating, and would like to know..... exactly what is everyones professional field of work?.
i would like to be a full time poster on this forum, but alas, the $$$$ are quite light in that field of work.. apologies if this has been asked before.. just curious.

Welcome,
I've got a rather boring job, but it pays the bills.
I'm an administration manager for a small group of companies.
In reality, I'm a glorified office boy that does everything from making a brew to balancing the books.
What do you do for a quid??? -

SPIDERMAN..SPIDERMAN..DOES WHAT EVER A SPIDER CAN
by plmkrzy inok even at my old age[8>] i still like the super hero action flicks.. the better ones anyway.
the first superman, the first batman and even some of the sequels to bat man were not bad.. how ever this week-end it seemed like everyone went to see spiderman all at once so i didn't go yet.. they just gave the stats on the news.. spiderman grossed over $$$114,000,000.00 so far and still counting.. did anyone go see it this week-end????.
and if so.

Additon to My Story
by ConnieLynn ini posted my story here a week or so ago.
and i left something out that i was shy about sharing, but now i have changed my mind for 2 reasons.
1) i feel more comfortable here everyday and feel like i can say this 2) i keep reading posts by new people who struggling to adjust and i think this might help.. after i left the witnesses and got df'd i had nowhere to go, i wanted to kill myself because i was so alone and was no one to turn to.

Hey Connie,
I know what you mean.
I too was on antidepressants and needed to see counselors.
It took me a while to find the right one. As you say there are some bad ones out there.
I had that with the 1st and 2nd ones. They never helped me, in fact they made me worse.
However, after finally finding the right person I was able to see the path I wanted and take steps to get there.
Thank you for sharing that with us.

How cool !!
I love to hear how people's kids are doing.
I have an almost 2yr old and when she's at school etc I will be doing my share of bragging.
Keep it up, I'm a prod Dad already and I know I will get worse as she gets older.
I never had any opportunites like that as a child, so it is refreshing to hear how normal kids are doing.
Thanks

First Post
by Decimus inhi everyone.while i have lurked on this board for some time this is my very first post.
the main reason for my reluctance to post has been the fact that my job keeps me pretty busy - however i have enjoyed the board so much i felt i would love to be a more tangible presence and have decided to take the plunge.
i will give more details of my background later.

Welcome Decimus,
I know the feeling, I'm busy at work each day and only get a moment or two to visit the site.
I find it very refreashing and thought provoking and it helps my day go by.
Look forward to hearing from you.

A big "thank you" to everyone here
by Simon inin the past i have sometimes felt like i have to be the 'bad guy', so to speak, because i need to lock or delete topics, deactivate people, try and stop fights and such like - basically, telling people off and not being 'nice'.. well, apart from the odd heated debate and harsh word (and disruptive 'visit') i have not really had a great deal to do for the past month or two and it has been very nice - a pleasure to serve.. so ... i thought i should say a 'thank you' instead of a "stop it!
" for once

Kep
Simon,
Thank you so much for your efforts and Angharad.
I enjoy my visits here.
