Had a C.O. recently whose pet peeve were boobs. At each visit he always had a need to reminds the sisters about wearing clothing that was revealing in that sort of way. Many wondered if maybe he just didn't get a large charge on talking about breasts from the platform. He often came across as a pervert.
I sort of felt sorry for the sisters and for his Mrs.

still wondering: Sorry to hear about the loss of your sister. Thank you for the above post, among other things, mentioning that your sister's "fear of becoming the object of pointing fingers and wagging tongues at the kingdom hall was too great". Sad but true! This is a type of guilt trip that the majority of JWs have to live with.
I hope I'm not out of line in asking. I'll understand if you'd rather not say. Didn't see it mentioned in the above post. But was wondering what your sister's age is?

Anyone have the scoop on the calamity howlers' (JW) annual meeting that took place yesterday Saturday Oct 1, 2011?
after all the hoopla over the "mentally diseased" stuff, i'm making a prediction.
i expect that the borg will stop distributing the koolaid wt online, at least to where anyone can download it.
i expect that they will require the jws to create logins and passwords to access the study edition, somehow tying that that back to what congregataion you're in and maybe even an elder approving that you attend.
Nah, not a chance!
The WTBTS can't even keep the letters to 'The Entire Body Of Elders' confidential let alone trying to control who gets the Watchtower Study edition and when. That's the beauty of the information age, the Internet.
There are too many moles, double agents, informers and what have you in the belly of the beast!

I heard one C.O. say recently at a C.A. that JW families are falling apart. Imagine that, JW families imploding!
The matter of JW families falling apart has been happening for years. JW divorces have been on the increase. Currently there is only a 30% to 35% retention rate of JW youth.
What's next? The implosion of who some affectionately refer to as....................... Mother. Serves her right for all the pain and suffering that she has and continues to inflict!
