When I see comments like these in the WT, I get the feeling that the GB is losing their war against DF relatives. I remermber this article when it was printed, and it hasn't affected the ones in our congregation that have DF'd relatives. They still text/email/call their DF'd relatives. The article says as an excuse, to not send an unessary email. Well, most of these parents have necessary busines such as babysitting their grandchildren to attend to. Funny thing, sending a note on a pidgeon, hasn't been outlawed yet. The sad thing is that the poor JW parents don't have a voice to express their frustrations, but, the GB seems fit to exploit the publications to voice their comments.

January 2013 warns parents to resist contact with df'd children again
by stuckinlimbo insee page 15-16. full of "straw men" like:.
* do not blame yourself it is the child that jehovah blames - parents do not care whose fault it is they just want their child not to be killed by god.
* it is ok for parents to hope their df'd child returns - was anybody really asking if that was wrong?.

It depends on who I'm with. I have work mates that are muslims. They have expressed negative comments towards Islam. They know, and are afraid of the Extremists.

gripes i have always had about CO's
by nowwhat? ini hate it when the co viits the sister congregation and a hundred publishers in our hall have to change our meeting schedule to accomodate his schedule.
why can't he adopt his scheddule to the congregation he's viisting?.
we are not allowed to have day off but he gets mondays and most of tueday off.. it could be snowing or pouring down rain on a saturday but we are expected to go out to support the co.. even though the apostle paul worked as a tentmaker so he wouldnt be a financial burden on the brothers why couldnt the co work part time on mondays?

Your prayers are supposed to be about what is in your heart, not from the lips of other people. Otherwise it is their prayers, not yours that you are uttering. If that elder doesn't like your prayer, he can refuse to add, "Amen" to it. That's all.
There are examples that Jesus prayed for the nations

Four thousand dollars may be a big step for her, she also may know that you don't need it right now.
What about a smaller step? Could she pay you back in one, two, or three years in monthy installments? Could that be suggested?

I really appreciate the sisters who just get to give a 5 minute part on the TMS staring at another sister at the end of a table. They are so capable, and skilled in speaking. They have that concerning touch. Some are very brilliant.
However, they have accepted their place in this ORG.
Yes, I am aware of the ones that have cancelled themselves on the TMS program, and I do respect them for doing this, When I stopped serving as an Elder I too quit the TMS, but, after seeing the sisters faithfully accepting and doing their assignmnents, has made me want to join the school again.
It's better than just sitting there and doing nothing.

I still would rather be a JW than a Muslim. The Muslims will kill you if you try to leave your faith. A christian can become a muslim, but a muslim may not become a christian. To so would be a death sentence.
I have had friends die for not having a blood transfusion, and I know of some that had it forced on them and later it became known that they had AIDS. That is not to say that if you have a blood transfusion you will get AIDs.
The lesson to be learned here is, stay the hell out of the Muslim countries.

It's that time of year, again. Neighbours competing with each other for the best display of Christmas decorations. Some are tackyy t, and some are very tastefull. I do enjoy walking in the evening and seeing such colour during a dark time of year. There is something to be said about the mood that this enhances. I do like this aspect of the holidays.
I hate the rush to shop and pressure that Xmas puts on people to spend money, though.
What are your thoughts? Have a drink of eggnog and rum, and post your comments.

Think about it. All of those poor people that have gotten illness, such as dementia. Now they are hospitalised and can't publish. Will they die at armaggedon?
I believe that the spreading the message of the Kingdom is important, but, the ORG goes overkill over it. For instance, on Saturday mornings, over 80 % are recorded as not at home. However, because the ORG says that the door to door ministry is a mainstay of our worship, they demand that we persist in wasting our time in that form of witnessing. I remember one CO comment about the telephone witnessing. The the telephone work was being instrumental in locating people, still he told us to not neglect the knocking at the doors. So what is behind this?
The ORG wants to give the image that we are active and busy. It's all about the PR. Sadly they will guilt you into achieving this image. They had it right awhile back they published who would die at Armaggedon, I quote, "Only those encourageably wicked will die at Armaggedon" If you know what that means, you will have the answer to your question.
