There is also the legal matter, depending in what country that you happen to live. You could let the police know about what happened, in Canada, and they will treat the matter confidentially. They may arrest him, based on evidence.

there is a corresponding topic on science and the immortal soul that reminded me of something that i had encountered in the 7th chapter of josephus's history of the roman campaigns in judea, "the jewish war".

one version of this is available in penguin classics, for example.

Then there is the account of the ressurection of Lazarus. I beleive it was in Jn 15, where Laz's mother mentions to Jesus that she is aware that Lazurus would be ressurected in the last days. Jesus of course ressurected Lazarus then, to show the power that he had over death.

Josephus did give us three points of view of various Jews that lived during that time, but he didn't give us Jesus's point of view. He wrote secular history, not divinely inspired writtings

there's a lot of rumble in the grapevine of jws that there difinitely is a new bible that 'mother' is releasing at the upcoming agm.. it would be awesome if we could get a sneak peek at some of the changes.

sure would be nice if some of the lurkers on this forum who work at bethel in the writing, shipping or printing department could help us out.

this would really irritate 'mom'!.

Yes, I remember the Org book released at a Service meeting. I remember the section allowing Elders to retire from their positions if they voluntary wanted to do so, removed. Then, in the most recent revised version it was put back in.

If Lot can ask for the city of Zoar to be spared, why can't we ask for the DF'd to be spared?

todaay's wt study mentioned jah's reasonableness when lot requested to go flee to zoar, instead of flight to the mountains.. jah had accomodated lot's request, and the city that was doomed to be destroyed got spared.

why can't we expect god to change his mind for the end of this system of things?

why can't we request the salvation for those that are df'd or da'd?

can someone, please, help me in finding this?.

i remember in a kingdom ministry, written quite some time, ago.. it mentioned that it was upto the individual family to determine what congregation they would attend, based on their own circumstances.

they wouldn't be subjected to determined boundaries.. does anyone remember that one, and where it exists?.
