Why is this book so expensive? Did the Pope bless it? You can get a good copy of "Catcher in the rye" for so much less.

Tax-exempt Status of Churches and the Gay Marriage Decision

it will be interesting to see what will happen with the "beloved" 501c3 tax exempt status which the churches hold so dearly onto.

the first-century christians met in homes.

they did not have exemption from taxes to the governments.

If this is big enough to change any Tax exemption away from a Charitable organization, the Charitable organization will simply tell their members to go get married by a Civil Ceremony, and come back to the KH for a wedding talk. If they eliminate that ability before the country, they eliminate the penalty. They operated that way before.

Single Sisters

they tend to be holier-than-thou, frumpty, but in private talk about getting married.

but they don't understand why no brother will look at them.

Got quite a chuckle on this thread. I can relate since we have our share of older frumpy looking sisters in our cong, too. Mind you not all older single sisters are frumpy, Some are from broken marriages, widows, other circumstances. They remain single because of the available single frumpy, smelly men in the cong.

my wife has a friend at her kh.

she is 37 and her friend is 88. i know it sounds kind of strange but they are both the wives of ubm so they kind of stick together.

my wife is very sincere in this friendship and this lady is a nice person.
