families with da/df members are now reunited.

everyone is burning their med directive cards.

So let's just say that the WT ORG is now finished. Families with DA/DF members are now reunited. Everyone is burning their Med Directive cards. Ex Missionaries/Need Greaters/ Bethel Workers are now heading home. Pioneers are sleeping in.

What have you planned for yourselves? Will Simon invite us over for a Celebration? Will you continue to post on this Website? What will be left to post about?

it was a mild surprise, learning that a brother and sister-in-law had began re-associating with jehovah's witnesses after at least 25 years of being away.

the couple, of hispanic ethnicity, are in their early 60's, with their five children all grown and independent.

the family had been considered nominal jws, infrequently attending meetings, rarely in field service, but using the annual convention as their family vacation.

every time i walk into a best buy, the vr equipment is busted for a sample test.

does anyone know, or have tested these?

I just test the Samsung VR model. It's impressive. When you calculate buying a Samsung phone, and the headger its quite costly. About $800.00. Some images weren't in HD so the quality was lacking. This still needs to improve

It's probably an announcement about the food arrangement at Bethel. There will be no more Kitchen staff effective Oct 1, 2016. Instead, Food concession stands will be set up like McDonalds, Burger King, and Arby's. Tim Horton's for the Canadian Branch. This will be later introduced into Assemblies and some of the Financial proceeds will go to the Society. Concession staff will adhere to the clothing requirements when they are at Bethel.

Why are anniversaries allowed but not birthdays?

the scripture quotes aside, i was always told that we don't celebrate birthdays because that is a celebration of the self, which has no place in jehovah's organization.

then why celebrate anniversaries?

anniversary celebrations are about the joining of two selves, isn't that twice as selfish?.
