Will only "incorrigibly wicked" people be destroyed at Armageddon?
by poor places inin a recent talk that i heard, a brother tried to comfort those whose family members have left jehovah's witnesses.
he did so by saying that only "incorrigibly wicked" people will be destroyed at armageddon.
i found his line of reasoning refreshing, especially in comparison with the usual fear-mongering in wt publications.

Well, the words "Incorribly Wicked", isn't in the scriptures, but I have seen it in the Public edition of the WT, and I did use it not too long ago in my talk. I used it, because I don't believe that only JW's will stand as the ones only righteous before the Son of Man, Jesus. There are wicked JW's too.
In the world there are 7 billion and there is a growth rate of 1.17 %. That means 79 million babies are born each year. How, can we make the statement that JW's will only survive? It's really a bold statement. I know the Soc has printed it in many shapes and forms.
The Soc may have some ulterior motive behind making that assertion.

CO Visits=encouragement?

I remember this CO from Quebec who had a thick french accent. He was hard to understand.
His started out this way, " A young man had money, fame, and a good family. But he killed himself. Why did he do that? Because this man didn't have,' A Penis'" . Of course he meant to say 'Happiness', but what came accross was 'A Penis'. He kept going on and on about how hard 'A Penus' was to find. They younger males in the cong. just stood there silently with a grin on their faces.

I've had some good experiences with some of the CO's and some very bad ones. I didn't like the new ones. We had to break in a lot of new ones, and it caused us our joy, and happiness. The CO duties have changed from encouraging the congregation to Auditors. Now, they just tell you what you are doing wrong, and repeat all the do nots that the Society has printed in the publications. Some are older and should be should retire. I can see it in their judgements. Some are so unkind, and they don't even care if they have upset anyone.
Lately, the recent CO's have been a dissappointment, though.

No, the Soc is not in the business of providing shelters, Shepard. Jesus did say, "You will always have the poor with you". But there was a money box available for the poor, and the Orphaned child, and the widows got looked at.
The point of the WT article is that those who served in a priestly capacity got provided for. This arttcle could be something of a stepping stone.
