  My Final Goodbye

  i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

  i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

  i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

  A Contradiction?

  yb: I was a appointed Fire Captain for the organization I worked for in our Bldg. The handicapped went to a room that was safe on the floor that I had to evacuate first. Then the volunteers would assist the handicapped down a safe route. That was the drill.

  Well, your illustration about the fire is modern. Today if you are in a bldg that is on fire you have to look after yourself. So does that guy in the wheelchair. It is the responsibily of the fireman to rescue any handy capped people.

  in the video you see his arrogant mom wearing pants around the house.....well later that sunday distracted by the days events, she went to the meeting in pants and was pulled over by two elders in the hall library!!!!.

  elder brownose: "hello sister thanks for meeting us.".

  Why do JWs get married at a young age?

  ages like 20-25 or younger.i mean damn,a 21 year old guy in my congo got baptised a couple weeks back and now his in a relationship with a jw gal and their getting married soon.any thoughts?.

  They do it to rebel against the GB.

  The GB would prefer that you don't get married, have children, burden your self with a normal family life.

  the doctrine that binds them to the truth like superglue is the doctrine of the resurrection.

  they ache to see their dead rise.. so ... i die.

  Your cells keep dying off, and new ones are formed constantly. You are technically not the same as when you were a child. The only thing that stays constant is your DNA. Mankind is exploring that genetic code, but are still so primitive in their exploration. The resurrection will not be a clone. A clone doesn't have your personality, memories, etc.

  Bible School for Single Brothers

  i heard through the grapevine that those who graduated the bible school for single brothers around the end of february have already gotten their assignments.. i thought they were usually given assignments only after about a year?.

  also while in the past not every graduate of the bible school for single brothers was given an assignment, in this class all were given one.. this smells like a bait and switch to me.. what's going on?.

  Yes, what was happening is the single brothers went home and all got married. So the Soc. said, "Screw this", "Ship them out to Africa right away".
