  i was a jw for a lot of years, like many of you.

  i wanted to try an experiment and try out my jw apologist chops.

  since we have such a hard time finding a jw apologist that can argue well, i thought i'd give it a whirl.

  It's the GB's fault. They should just pull a ?Heaven's Gate move since they think only they are the F&DS.

  Actually,I always assumed that the FDS was the GB all in one. I doubt most Witnesses will care about this "new" light. They'll just say,didn't we always believe this way.

  They wil gloss over it. But the teaching was that the F&DS included the annointed on earth ant any given time just a few years ago. This is why the number of partakers at the celebration of Jesus' death was always important to note.

  Can YOU solve the following Paradox??

  before i address the paradox (a statement that contradicts itself) i want to insert a fact from history.. .

  the romans used a malleable (and highly poisonous) metal (lead) for water pipes and conduits.

  as snows melted into pure water, it was channeled into sluices and pipes made of lead that ran through the cities as drinking water.. .

  Well lead may be poisonous but taking small amounts of it will not kill you.

  Vaccinations are virii injected into us to make us better able to withstand a full virus.

  As a kid, I worshiped demons like Santa Clause and the tooth fairy without knowing what I was doing. I saw hypocrisy in the Church as well.

  As a college bound adult, I threw away my old protestant religion because I had a taste of it and knew it was wrong.

  I was later (much later) fooled by the WTB&TS thinking they were on the same line of thinking as I but I found the same bad taste with them

  I do not consider myself dying because of the poisons I took in. I am better able to see through each group now and am better for it.

  So in my personal religion, I have beliefs, and still seek the way to either higher conciousness or the creator, even if it is not based on anyone else's notions.

  Most folks here would not be stumbled because they are no longer taking direction from the WTB&TS. End of that discussion.

  But should those who claim to be Jehovah's Witnesses and take direction from the WTB&TS be stumbled? - Yes

  Should those who are Jehovah's Witnesses and do NOT take direction from WTB&TS be stumbled? - No. And these are in a good position to serve Jehovah wholeheartedly if that is their choice.

  The WTB&TS (The greater Jeroboam) is a Man-Made organization and corporation that you should test to see if their fruits of errors are sweet or not. Issa gave many warnings against false prophets.

  this week is the super special week of activity with one of our favorite jw celebrities...the circuit overseer!!!.

  in last night's talk, he gave sooooo much encouragement...just hearing him made me want to fall to my knees and worship him!

  In this line of thinking, if Satan wants to wipe them out, he must be doing Jehovah's will to end this system.

  If the attacks of 911 were to wipe out the GB, why are they not dead in love of the other sheep? Why did they escape fate and still hold on

  to their earthly bodies and this system of things? I've been looking for threads concerning NY and Superstorm Sandy and what the GB

  would do in emergency situations. If they believe their position, then only the small number of GB in NY have to pass before we can

  This is a awesome thread. One of many great quotes is the above from July 1965 Watchtower!

  That is actually 1976 5/15, the numbers just are close. The quote matches directly with p298 on the CDROM.
