is it true what we're hearing?

it's been reported to us that two elders burst in to a sda church service about a month ago seeking to trap a witness man there.

the man, a witness for 14 years, had become disillusioned with the affairs of the wts in australia after viewing the "sunday" program on channel nine which exposed the cover-up of paedophilia in the witness movement.

Question for Elders... Will Refusing to meet with Elders - Avoid Disfellowshipping?

does anyone know if this strategy will work to avoid being disfellowshipped?

if one moves their card from one hall to another before a "wrongdoing" becomes public - and then refuses to meet with the elders at the new hall - will they simply be able to fade away without being disfellowshipped.

i had heard that if you refuse to meet with the elders, they generally will not df you - in order to avoid possible legal issues.

Just move out to where the elders can't find you anymore, they won't df'd you if they have never invited you to JC.

i finished my bible study and progressing in the org.

I am off topic little bit, I do know one brother committed adultery and he moved out of state right away. Then the elders learned about it and they can't find him, so they never df'd him, that was years ago.

tell them that you do not want to be unbaptized publisher at this time, then fade.

It is up to you. One more suggestion. move to another place to live, they will never find you again. Maybe have PO Box so they will never find out where you are at in the near future.
