does anybody know the current rules about going to fireworks?

is it or is not acceptable these days?

(us 4th of july week they go on in different locals all week).

I watched the fireworks as a JW for years, nobody said anything about it to me. We just said it is just fireworks.

Can Anointed Members Be Disfellowshiped?

since the anointed class used to be the faithful and discreet slave, i wondered if and how they can be disciplined through being disfellowshiped?

aren't they given a little more latitude in how they interpret scriptures and in what they say?

do people in kingdom halls who have anointed members defer to them in any way?

?-and do the captchya thing---never used to--stayed logged in all the time.

what do i need to do--?.

If you are on firefox, it will do that to you, but if you are on google chrome, it would not do that to you. Been there done that.

Rumor: April 3, 2015 start of Great Tribulation?

on another forum, somebody mentioned that there is a growing belief with those high up in watchtower hierarchy that the great tribulation will begin april 3, 2015. evidently, one has to check the skycharts for that date and compare with 33 ceand also compare with the history of jws for past 40, 80, 120 years.

dont ask me to verify the rumor...these things come and go.

im sure lots of people in hq believe all sorts of things.. .

when i was in it, especially as a young person, it was rules oriented but not like it is now.

to me, the religion is a lot more fanatical than ever before....what do you think?

is it the same religion even as it was 20 years ago?.
