Some years ago, elder talked bad things about me in field service.....

i just thought about my old congregation where an elder met worldly married couple in field service some years ago.

the couple knew me for years but we do not know each other very well and they mentioned my name to him and he started to talk bad things about me!

I just thought about my old congregation where an elder met worldly married couple in field service some years ago. The couple knew me for years but we do not know each other very well and they mentioned my name to him and he started to talk bad things about me! WTF! I was informed by a JW brother that was with him that talked to the couple. I do not know what he said about me. He declined to elaborate further. I was inactive at that time so I did not bother to try to find out what he said to them. I think he was trying to ruffle my feathers. Just wondering if you know of any JW that talk bad about Ex-JW in field service?

logging on to the user area access today, there appeared a message saying that they now require a postal and physical home address to attach to your profile, with a note saying that the branch may change the details as they see fit.

this raises several questions in my mind:.

why would they need to have your physical address on file?.

i am a non-jw girl dating a jw man for almost 5 years now since end of high school.

most of the relationship has been long distance.

when we started dating, we wanted a serious long term relationship that would end in marriage one day.

What would you say to the HH if you could?

ok so there's no other jws in earshot and your on the ministry, the hh comes to the door, what would you say to them about jws if you could?.

would you explain why your there when you don't want to be?.

would you warn them about it being a cult?.

i finally decided to join linkedin.

i have been in technology for all my adult life, so i am one of those who don't like to communicate and socialize using technology.

however, i decided to join because i started to feel left out.. i have kept my profile private for the time being.
