All of the GB Members have already read the Kingdom Ministry annoucement of Ray Franz being terminated from the Bethel Family and of the Governing Body. The youngest GB member, Mark Sanderson was 15 at the time of the announcement. I was told that he was a very good boy all of his life, I am sure he remembers the annoucement too.

Yes, they have heard of Ray and his book. My JW parents know about it but they never read it, they should know too.

Disfellowshipping question for X or Current Elders

i know somebody who got disfellowshipped...they decided to appeal.

how long does the appeal process usually take?

do they ever get overturned?

Being honest & fair, can you think of anything that the Watchtower does that's beneficial to the public?

i'm curious, as where i reside there's about to be a major brouhaha over the tax exempt status of a major player in this area.

reading and hearing the arguments from both sides conjured thoughts about the tax exempt status of religions and the arguments associated with that issue.

a significant portion of the arguments related to that issue center around how a tax exempt organization benefits it's community.

I think some suicides have been prevented by the Watchtower.

i know witnesses believe that miracles were done away with other "gifts" after the apostles died but every so often they suggest god produced a miracle.. did you believe that jehovah god saved you out of a bad situation?

did you accept that god's angel help you out?.

One time my Dad went out in field service, a man was arguing with him, My Dad wanted to show him the scripture that he has in mind, but forgot where is it in the bible, but he just opened his bible without turning a single page, the scripture is right there in his eyes, he thinks Jehovah did it for him.
