Scully:
Thanks for posting this excellent news!!!! From the sounds of it, I believe it will be an excellent report/expos of what has and is happening within the walls of the Borg.
One of the biggest responsibilities of a civilized society is to protect those who can't protect themselves. This would be the Children. - BeelzeDub
Great quote and thought BeelzeDub! From the sound of it, it sounds like the CBC agrees and is making this about the Survivors, their getting some justice, exposing the practices of the Borg hierarchy and protecting future victims moreso than about the advocates themselves.
Looking forward to January 29th!!
Kismet
so, here are my first round playoff predictions (as if any of you care...lol!
colts 23, jets 15 (the jets had their super bowl vs. the packers).
packers 21, falcons 17 (i have a hunch that atlanta may pull the upset but you can't root against the pack at lambeau).
These are my picks based on the mid-week Roxy Spreads (my picks are in bold):
Favourite Underdog over / under
TENNESSEE 4 Pittsburgh o ver 44 under
PHILADELPHIA 7.5 Atlanta over 38 under
TAMPA BAY 4.5 San Francisco over 39 under
OAKLAND 5.5 N.Y. Jets over 47 under
Now by way of outright wins...
Tennessee over Pittsburgh 24-21
Philly over Atlanta 28-24
Tampa over San Fran 28 -10 (as long as it is Brad Johnson not Rob Johnson QBing)
Oakland/Jets is a toss up, I think it will go into OT and first possession will win by a field goal. I hate em but am going to have to take the Jets 31-28
After week 1 of the playoff pool, I am at 7 out of a possible 9 points (I missed 2 over/under picks).

i'm at work right now and i have been asked to help.
a jw patient will probably die during surgery if she does not accept blood.
to the best of my knowledge the hlc is not aware of her presence in hospital, and her non-jw family wants to know what she can have.. how does the family get in touch with the hlc in the area?
A call to Bethel is likely the quickest way.
The 24 hour security guys there have all contact info and a list of emergency numbers for this kind of situation
905-873-4100, then Press 0
added by edit: If they are hesitant, just ask to be put through to Zenon Bodnaruk's room. He is the coordinator of the Hospital Liaison Committees at the Branch. If you are insistent, that this is an emergency, they will put the call through but security will likely have all the info right there.

...the number of posts next to your name was not there?
or what if the date from the time you signed up was missing?
do you think that some here crave the attention that they receive just by the amount of posts that they create?

First of all "HI" !!
as far as typing sped being a factor, I think not since we share a similiar typing speed and I am not yet a jedi.

PS - the numbering above is in no particular order. All people mentioned are damned good 'things' about Canada ..well except for exPat who as an accountant can only be called a good thing about Canada. We all know Accountants really wanted to be lion tamers.....

Well take a look at my start date and the number of posts I have made.
I have been posting within 2 months of the site opening and lurked for the prior month before finally speaking up. To this point I haven't even reached 1,000 posts.
The whole title thing started as a joke and developed into a long running joke. Some have made it a goal but most really don't really care about such things IMO

PS - Now in real life it is tough to get me to shut up and would be a "Senior Master Jedi Emperor Member" if face to face conversations were included LOL

I still really like my alias of Kismet but I am soon going to have to stop using it.
Due to potential 'public' examinations (or shall I say cross) I don't want opinions expressed under this alias attributed to any individual and too much personal info (here and elsewhere)has been submitted over the years so it is best to let it fade away.
I will likely start posting under my real name and be certain that any comments made under that alias be suitable for 'examination' purposes.

smirking - or at least the poster formerly known as Kismet or the poster soon to be known as simply Poster LOL Maybe I should come up with a symbol next.
