Why not send him to France ?? The French have been playing footsie with the very brutal regime in Iraq, which Tariq was a part of, for some thirty years. I suspect, however, the people of France don't want him either since he can no longer help them. Bug

No, I had no idea that would happen. Then I logged onto this forum and ran into some very intelligent posters, who made a lot of sense. This was after the Dateline program came on and I was madder than a cat being neutered.
Then I went to my first Apostofest and met some of these above named posters in person, Valis, Cowboy, Eyegirl, Xena, MegaDude, Wild Turkey and Lyin Eyes, VeniceIT, just to name a few. Up until I walked thru the door of Valis home I had the nagging feeling I was doing something wrong. Didn't take long to get over that feeling. A little beer, some discussion, a few jokes, and life was good again.
My purpose is not to "talk against" anyone, but there are some things which need to be brought out in the open, such as child abuse. I want to help, in any way I'm able, those who would wish to leave "the truth" and live a normal life. Also, it's nice to associate with folks who have the same messed up background, but who are now enjoying life again. Bug

She probably thinks she is very important in the overall scheme of things, and reality hasn't set in yet. It is going to be a hard landing when she comes back to earth. Bug

WMD found on plane...womans breasts...amazing story
by searchfothetruth inplease read the following story: .
http://www.canada.com/search/story.aspx?id=51aa6ab6-034b-4fe0-911c-04871e6b1ec5.
a american passenger complained about a canadian woman passenger who was breast feeding on a plane and said to the flight attendant that a 'foreign national' was asking him questions in american airspace and he felt that this was a 'terrorist attack' on him.

Assuming we have the whole story, I would agree that the Lady was treated rather badly. To accuse a breast feeding mother of terrorism borders on stupidity. On the other a US congressman (Dingle) was stripped searched because his artificial hip was setting off the metal detector. Some folks seem to work at being dumb. Bug

Who's voice would you really like to have?
by Latte in.
if you had the chance to 'come back' as a different person, who's voice would you most like to have?
for me it would have to be either linda ronstadt or barbra streisand, failing that... shakira.

If I died and came back as a man, Garth Brooks. If I came back as a woman, Lavern Baker. Bet a lot of you don't even know Lavern. Bug

But getting back to the Botany Bay, if you stop and think about it this website is just like the historic ship, metaphorically speaking. Exiled and sent off, we have journeyed to find a new community together here.
Wow !!! Tammy, that was deep!! I almost cried. However, it looks as if none of us can answer Sheilas' question. Sorry about that Sheila, but great post anyway. Bug

When I was 30 we were blessed with a son, 15 years later at the age of 45 we were blessed with a daughter who is now almost 21. At the age of 34 or so, I was still in good enough shape to run down the street after my son while he learned to ride a bike. At the age of 50, there was no way I could keep up with daughter while she learned, so grown son came to the rescue and helped daughter learn to ride. That is when I learned just how valuable grown children can be to their aging parents.
Teejay, your daughter will go back to the bicycle, its just a matter of time. Might help if Mom and Dad bought bikes of their own and showed her how much fun bicycle riding can be. Bug

I had been away from the Borg for over 20 years when I stumbled into this forum. I thought I was 10 feet tall and bullet proof, religiously speaking, but soon learned I had many left over problems which weren't being addressed. Thanks to the posters here, Valis, Cruzenheart, Big Tex, Skully, just to name a few, I feel I am less messed up than I was before signing on here. Also, my knowledge of this cult has grown by leaps and bounds. Bug
