  what's more, a quirk in the uk licencing laws allows anyone with a valid car licence to drive one!

  There was a bank in Amarillo, Texas several years ago that actually owned one of these buses. They had it set up so they could offer banking services at fairs, fests and other activities which drew crowds. Great advertising.

  There was a British bank which was heavly invested in the Amarillo Bank and they sent a female rep over to discuss the business and the locals took her to the Airport in this bus which was named "Bob the Bank Wagon. The bank was eventually bought by another concern and Bob Disappeared. Pity.

  It's funny how much more enamored people in other parts of the country are with Arpaio than those of us that reside in Maricopa county

  Here in Texas Sheriff's are compelled to run for election every few years, is that the case in Arizona ?? If he is being re-elected then the folks in his county are obviously for him, and his methods.

  His point is well taken, soldiers in Iraq are undergoing the same kind of heat, but they didn't do anything to warrent this type of "treatment." Prisoners, have either been convicted of a crime or they are charged with criminal activity. They have no reason to complain.

  Help, I need some advice

  we are asking our tenants to leave as of september and they are friends of ours.. .

  my hubby had a conversation with the male tenant and told him yesterday (without his wife around) that they are going to have to be out by september as this situation is not working for them, us and most importantly our kids (i have 2 kids that have as and stress is not a good thing for them to go through).

  he was kind of shocked but was understanding of why this was neccessary.

  ok ok ok don't rattle my ears so, i havn't even looked at the rest of the replies there yet, anyway, don't put me off my train of thought, thats rude, now you made me digress.

  after posting the last topic, i thought you americans deserved something a tad better from me, so off i went before sundown to capture some photos for you all and i hope you enjoy them, the one of the cows udder, yes, that is where milk comes from for you city dwellers, well, it reminded me of a certain lady poster on this forum, only i forget her name now.

  the ones of the cornish lanes, well you can see the width of the road, would you believe that yes, this is for two way traffic and the speed limit is 60mph, great fun at night hairing down these meadering roads, but tis cool, cos you can always see the headlights coming from the other way.

  does anyone know how to microwave eggs?.

  i tried looking it up on the internet but without luck.

  i've been told you can pierce a hole in the shell so they don't explode, but even so, i wouldn't know how long to cook them for.

  Just peel the shell off of the cold egg and then zap it in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.... should be warm by then....

  At the hotel most of us stayed at during the Apostafest in Dallas at the end of May, they served hard boiled eggs for their breakfast bar.. Two of them literally exploded in the microwave. They had been peeled, (served that way) but don't know rather they had holes poked in them or how long they were heated before blowing up. Sure made a mess in the microwave.

  in another post someone mentioned americans loving micro beers - and i thought about beers i drink and why.

  i drink budweiser on occasion because they sponsor events i like.

  i drink miller high life on occation just because of the great 'lone man talking' commercials.

  Dos Equis (dark) with Mexican (presuming it's REALLY SPICY - as Mexican should be). Yummy

  Any beer brewed and consumed in Mexico is good. Apparently they are compelled to lower the alcohol content before shipping it across the border. Don't know for sure that is true, but it sure tastes different imported than it does in Mexico. Bug
