we all try to be a little bit nicer to each other and everyone we come in contact with, do random acts of kindness, and try to be a positive force for good in this world.. help someone who needs it, whether they say thank you or not.

don't get upset if they don't thank you.

Why are witnesses being "Persecuted" in certain countries?

for the most part this "persecution" is confined to countries where political balance can change on the drop of a dime.

watchtower witnesses who go door to door will speak of their religious views which include not voting or supporting the political parties.

where the watchtower control a percentage of the population through their kingdom halls and they turn people off from voting they have in effect formed their own type of independant political organization.

Why is doubtfully yours here? I know when I came here I was in direct violation to come here! I even swore I would never visit an apostate site when it was put to a vote at the 2006 convention. You must not have attended that one.

And here I thought this thread was going to be about the society REPAYING PEOPLE FOR THE MISCALCULATION OF 1975!!! Many people are owed LOTS of money because they bullied their followers to sell their frickin houses.

Since I have only been out 2 months this kind of talk still bothers me. It makes me want to run back to KH and be there again just in case. But then I remember when I was actually doing good that I felt I was going to be killed by God anyways...

Did You Ever Fink On Another Witness?

did you ever tell the elders that you knew of "wrongdoing" or that you knew a certain person wasn't adhering to the rules?.

There was a CUTE little sister one time in the hall. I ran into her at the mall hanging out with an UGLY guy with piercings etc. I got jealous and went and finked on her. The Elder had already told this sister several times not to hang with that guy he told me.

The next time I finked was on myself. I had been married once before and not scripturally divorced even though I thought I had just cause for one because my wife was LIVING with another man for 6 months but the elder's said that she was just renting a room from him. Yeah right. They both lived in the same apartment on the same floor. Only a living room seperated their two rooms but ANYWAY....After 5 years I finally had sex with someone else being that I hadn't seen my wife in 5 years...I found out the elders would let me be scripturally free if I finked on myself so I did. Get reproved for 6 months but after that I was free to remarry! So I did...To a worldly gal 2 years later.

i don't know if you've read anything like this before, but i'd like to share anyway.

as you know, we hear time and time again how we've preached pretty much in every country on earth (with a few exceptions for safety reasons).

well, maybe we have, but that doesn't mean we've reached even half of the people on earth.

That is not what the CO said a couple of months ago. He said EVERYONE that doesn't receive a witness will be destroyed. He was very clear about it. He said all those in China will probably die. Because IF it was a God reads hearts thing...Why would there be a need for the preaching work?

So glad I am away from these crappy people!
