  this story is about a person who chose modern day paganism over jehovah's witnesses for obvious reasons.. it's the usual watchtower doublespeak at the end of it about what a tolerant religious group they are that annoyed me!.

  Real question is, why are they even trying to portray themselves as “tolerant” in the first place?

  Based on every scrap of material they’ve ever published about “false religion”, they’re not fooling anybody with half a brain.

  Remember back in the day when they honestly and proudly condemned every other church that wasn’t them?

  i had a thought about neutrality...how we were never to take sides on political issues, say by voting.

  how does that square with the letters we were asked to write to various lawmakers in countries-not too many years ago we were ask to write to russian officials.

  i wonder if there is to be a letter writing to norway.

  Any “neutral” stand the WTS ever took was calculated solely to antagonize secular authorities just enough that the backlash could make them appear victimized to the courts, the media, and especially the rank-and-file.

  Of course, we understand now that going around jabbing folks in the eye with a stick and then whining when you get a beatdown for it doesn’t actually make you “persecuted”.

  It just makes you an asshole.

  hi everyone i’m not pimi or pimo i’m pima.. i don’t think the gb have everything right but i’m sitting on the fence that maybe they do some things.. if the great trib starts i will jump that side of the fence.. this is a definite little sneaky advantage dodging but even by their own doctrine last min some could come in.. i suspect many are like me.. i spent years in bethel and am very disappointed and disillusioned by it all.. but at the end of the day i love the bible and think it is the word of god and i don’t see any other religion that comes as close to what jesus describes his true followers or who are fulfilling mat 24:14..

  elders will play a much smaller role since csa.

  cart preaching will replace door to door.
