Since I suspect the whole door-to-door record-keeping thing was actually to maintain a “charity”-related paper trail (in case of auditing), and the Org’s tax-exemption is likely approaching it’s end, there probably isn’t much point, anymore.

The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke
by pistolpete inwe just had our co visit a few weeks ago.
apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.
because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

The new Dune remake is terrific.
It adapts the first half of the book, with more to come.

There were always little itty bitty things that added up less and less, but looking back it was realizing that evolution had to be true…
…and eventually figuring out the Truth about the Truth on my own.
I eventually started looking online for confirmation more than anything else.
Thats the funny thing about reading XJW material on the net…
…contrary to what the WTS says, it doesn’t turn you “apostate”.
It just helps you realize you already are one.

Never expect anyone to solve a problem when their livelihood depends on that problem existing
by Simon inimagine you were a leader of a "gender equality" group started as part of the 'metoo' movement?.
now fast-forward and you're the one trying to discredit victims who have come forward with accusations.
but not they are accusations against someone you work for.. it's a perfect example of how activists so often end up unwittingly (or quite intentionally) perpetuating the very problem they claim to be against.

Don’t Trust the Courts! Splane’s Latest Anti-Apostate Talk
by StephaneLaliberte indavid splane’s talk “put up a hard fight for the faith” was that last talk presented on the saturday of the annual convention.
this talk was to largely address apostates and restated ideas and arguments often presented before.
however, this year, watchtower is spending more time in disqualifying negative findings originating from secular courts and here is the segment of interest here: .

The (IN)Consistent teaching about VACCINATIONS from JW leaders
by Terry invaccinations.
how many deaths were instigated which could be prevented?watchtower policies against vaccines left faithful sheep vulnerable to horrible consequences.antitoxins and vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, anthrax, cholera, plague, typhoid, tuberculosis, and more were developed through the 1930s.. 1921 - "vaccination never prevented anything and never will, and is the most barbarous practice" - golden age oct 12, 1921, p.17.
1923 - "vaccination, summed up, is the most unhygienic, barbaric, filthy, abhorrent, and most dangerous system of infection known.

Terry..."Watching JW TV is like watching Barney the Dinosaur kid show... The GB members seem well below average on every count - which in itself is not condemning them - but - the clownish forced sincerity gnaws at my sense of decorum..."
Holy shit, I know, right?
Letto the Clown's the most egregious example, IMO... he's like a freaky mashup of Marshall Applewhite and Mr. Rogers.
I swear, the rest of the GB could plunk him down to host a Org-centric kid's show on JWTV, and the guy probably wouldn't even have a clue that it was FOR kids.
And don't even get me started on Anthony Morris the Turd, AKA Top-shelf Tony, AKA Spanky McTightypants.
The best picture I've ever seen of him was taken with a smiling African-American JW boy...
...with the crooked grin and the straw boater hat, he looked like a drunken southern mayor stuck in the early 1960s, but trying to appeal to the "colored" demographic.
Seriously, though, I honestly think JW Broadcasting has been the absolute best thing for everyone.
The GB absolutely love being televangelists...
...and the XJW community's assertions that they were no better than televangelists has been proven true beyond the shadow of a doubt.

As far as I'm concerned, Etude's story simply reinforces the theory that institutionalized JW lifers are simply unable to function without a narrow set of rules.
Put them out in the real world, and they'd be helpless.

25 million
by road to nowhere inwife tells me the latest video mentions the wt has spent $25 million on covid relief.
the "food pantry" was all local, and is almost non existent.
the government food was mostly inedible on the rare occasions it came.

smiddy3 - "Really, it just goes to show you how ineffective their witnessing is if in the birthplace of Jehovah`s witnesses the USA is 1% or less... All of those years of going D2D with SFA results."
I think it's pretty clear by now that the D2D work was never really about "being effective in witnessing".
It was busywork activity to shore up group solidarity...
...and more importantly...
...provide a tangible paper trail to help maintain the Org's charity status in order to keep its tax exemption.
