  in my plan to exit the jw i thought it would be good if i adhere to another faith group, not cultish as the jw but non trinitarian.. this is decided for the sake of my children (two sons)'s spritual safety.

  i researched the internet and in the non trinitarian groups i found these christadelphian.

  any idea about this group?.

  I remember they do not believe Satan is real. They came from the second Adventist same as JW. They are older then JW ( bible students )

  after some reflections i have come to the decision to disfellowship myself from here, permanently.

  many interesting argumentations sometimes, thank you adamah for many clever reflections.

  criticizing in a bad manner of members and arrogant "i know better than you"-attitudes is a part of it.

  Paying the same, deductable went up to 1,200.00 from 500.00. no more co-pay until deductable is met even for scrips. We will pay 2,400 plus 3,000 payments before anything kicks in. So for us it has went way up. My husband works for DuPont. No more co-pay was the biggest change.

  Expect other big companies to follow suit next year. Sherry

  i went to my 1st apointment with my surgeon today.

  my scheduled apointment was at 10:30am.

  my primary care doctor made the apointment over a week ago.

  Sometimes I have had to wait a long time, but that was because some unforseen thing came up with a patient. If they told you it will be as long or longer next time that is not right. Once you get into the room you will wait some more. So you have to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours and then wait in the room for 1/2 hour more, that is just so crazy. That doctor has a time management problem IMHO

  i'm 28 years old and never had a girlfriend.

  women pay me absolutely no attention when i'm in public.

  Nerdy smart guys are sexy to me. I have a crush on Lawrance Krauss, he is bald with lumps on his face. He kind of looks like a lizard man lol .

  Education and a great job will take you a long way. Some people will grow on you. They are not good looking but when you get to know them, that little smirk or that space between their teeth turns out to be soooo cute.

  Sometimes when people are too pretty it can work the same way. No one wants to meet them because they don't think they have a chance. I remember when I was young, my sister and I went to the bar dressed down with no makeup, it was crazy, we had twice as many guys asking us to dance.

  Don't be doing drugs all the time. NOT GOOD. Save it for a treat once in a while . Be smart

  i was never disfellowshipped, but it's been about 10 years since i was an active jw.

  i've made an occasional meeting or half-day at an assembly here or there, strictly at the behest of family (maybe once a year), but i'm completely disconnected.

  more importantly, mentally i'm 100% free.. we all have a tendency to project our views and beliefs onto others, and tending to believe that other former jws share our views is no different.

  I was a #2...yes I felt like shit too, because I believed. I was only a witness wannabe. I hated meetings and loved sex, drugs, and rocknroll. I started to get my life together and settle down some about 30 years of age. I got married for the second time and have had a wonderful life. I did try to go back at about 35 but could not give up smoking ( maybe it was an excuse ) The internet and Ray's books set me free . It's a bummer when your body is out, but your mind is in....I can see how someone could lose it if they were not a strong willed person like me.

  Even in my wildest days I still had morals and ethics. I love people. Love to laugh and have fun. So even though I was going to die in the big A SOON, I was not a hoe ....lol

  Yes, they would be very uncomfortable. I know my mom felt very strongly when a relative kept talking about the LORD....the lord this, the lord that. After she left my mom mocked her....she did not like that kind of talk one bit...............but some JW's can't go one sentence without saying Jehovah.

  Which one sounds more like Paul in the NT ? Every JW I've asked " JW's don't speak that much about Jesus do they ? " 6 or 7 all had the same answer " Oh yes we do, we pray all prayers through Jesus name " They ALL said the same thing...lol SAD In Jesus name amen...that is enough talk about Jesus.

  They don't mind the nice clean cut Jesus in the WT picture, but the one on most peoples wall is a long haired hippy dude. They KNOW Jesus shaved his neck, and trimed his SHORT beard everyday. He also got a nice haircut every 4 weeks.
