i have the elders coming to my home soon and need help finding a watchtower where thay stated that the regular publishers were also prophets, i think it came out about 2007 i think but not sure..

Is their a table/list comparing what the WT & Awake magazines print that differs from their bound volumes ?

i have seen quotations from time to time that says the wt & awake magazines have been changed when the bound volumes come out , has anybody ever been able to list these changes ?

and make a comparison .?

to me this is quite deceptive , like speaking out of both sides of your mouth .if you pick them up on one thing then they quote something different , and have the printed page to prove it.surely they need to be nailed down on this.. smiddy.

I don't know of a list, but I do know that there are examples of changes in the WTLIB CD rom of changes evident from mags printed the past year and even earlier ones too! Sorry, I do not have them readily available but I have run into them for sure. So in that the BV is printed later it allows them to update with newer, new light. Isn't that great........

My bible study last night...holy hell

so last night was my weekly bible study with my wife my friend/elder and his wife.

well like many still asleep the first thing that we talked about was what intrested us about the agm..so the elder goes into the things like how exciting it is and loves all the added crap in the appendixes and the info in the front beause its straight from gods word.

i thought "didnt someone say you shouldnt add anything or take anything away?

Doubling up for Trouble in 2014?

december 2013 our kingdom ministry (u.s.) states in 2013, there were 3 classes of single brothers and 18 classes for couples.

for 2014 there will be 47 classes scheduled.. (these type classes developed as the 'traditional' gilead classes for missionaries have been dropped.

these classes have been developed to send to already existing congregations areas/cities that need help.

Reprints vs. Originals?

i have downloaded two different versions it seems of the watchtower of 1879: there is a version available online which has all of the text from 1879 to 1916, and it seems like it has a lot more than the reprints!

the reprints admit that they have excluded some material... so i was wondering if anyone had a scan of the originals?.

jehovah's witnesses always say that jehovah will take care of, in other words destroy, the sinful people like homosexuals, pedophiles, thieves ect.

Looking for Old story about the New Order

there was a story written by someone ( i think a man) about what life in "the new order" would be like maybe 20-50 years ago.

it talked about horrible things...like squads looking for sinners and elders talking about waiting for people to just kill each other and they wouldn't have to worry about them then...does anyone know the title of it???
