Dude, I 've read these articles in years past and they were on The Divine Institute of Marriage. The statements made although (without any way of substantiating their comments) were "that God divided off the female characteristics from Adam and placed them in Eve to personify those aspects or characteristics and thus be a match or complement to Adam" Adam being perfect and posessing a perfectly balanced combination of what would become feminine as well as manly characteristics would find his soulmate so to speak with this one who now had the gentler/emotional femine side ..... I am not agreeing with it just stating how the articles were written.
No where writing about finding a penis etc......

You can contact me, I still have access to everything and also I sell old out of print items on ebay. I also have extensive PDF files as do many of the members here, although I have the mother load for sure... virtually every item evr produced down to hand bills etc.. calenders all on pdf.

Read "Love Wins" by Rob Bell it may not be right but it will open your mind to other possibilities.

I decided not to go back to the KH
by Bucholz inwell, as i mentioned before in one of my few other posts, i've been lurking here for some time now and finally decided it was time to face the facts and take action.. i was raised a jw (4th generation) and my parents were quite zealous when they got married.
mom was a regular pioneer and dad was a ms. i was the little jw 'rockstar' in my congregation, got baptized at 10, was giving talks and serving as an attendant at the hall and at conventions at such an early age.
auxiliary pioneered whenever i could.

Amen, me too! After reexplaining to the brothers again and again the last days and generation - smeneration I said this is it .........and now we are enjoying all the same things you are. I would rather enjoy one year of existance without all that, than be rolled up into that mess again.

Selling literature on ebay? Good, bad or ugly?

i have been involved for 50 years with wtb&ts and have 4 generations prior to me involved.
i started collecting the literature and releases log ago and always viewed it as a hobby.

I started collecting the literature and releases log ago and always viewed it as a hobby. In looking for certain items I found other collectors and sellers on ebay and purchased some hard to find items through the years there. I also in the last few years have been selling items occasionally that were duplicates, etc... as a means to offset costs procuring "the keepers" as I call them. Here is the question then, how do witnesses view this action? I know how I view it and that is not going to change but how about you? Taking all things into account, how can this be viewed as anything but someones personal business, especially when most JWs throw out bookshelf clutter when viewed as "out of date and even dangerous older thought material" haahehehah..just saying...

Thank you all for your encouraging comments. It is a funny thing how posting your thoughts seems to bring comfort when in reality it is obviously the actions you take yourself that will change the situation. I once posted an obscure bible question which I was just sure I had the answer to and was "handed my _ss" by Leolaia a poster on this site. Some of his or her thoughts may have been verifiable and a few not but I derived enough doubt about the subject that it was a revelation. ( I think the poster was right on so many levels that it didn't even matter anymore) But the real lesson it taught me was that the truth about many of the spiritual things we've been focused on most of our lives are still a matter of interpretation and best guesses in many cases. I so appreciated learning that lesson. I know this is off post in subject, but how can we just go our merry way and not seek a relationship with some higher power? How can we just stop being students? In the book, 30 years a WT slave the writer commented on the scripture Romans 8:20,21 "glorious freedom of the sons of god". I had thought about that scripture over and over again after leaving the WT prior to reading his comments and then to see it again was an real affirmation that we are all realizing a dream, the actual dream of Romans 8:20,21 we are truly free.... thanks so much for taking the time to answer or comment everyone, this has just been a really difficult time in my life these last 6 months. And lastly anyone who actually typed my name out without copying and pasting it, you have a special tenacity which will take you far in this life. hahah
