Eventually the young adopted girl now adult, confesses to their deeds and both her and the spirit anointed presiding overseer elder are expelled. He divorces his wife and marries his step daughter. No one called the police. The spirit anointed presiding overseer name is Jose Tejada and his step daughter now wife is Carmen Tejada.

The body of elders said they were just following directions from the presiding overseer and that's why they removed the 2 elders who wanted to investigate the matter.

When you have a cult constantly telling the membership to obey, respect and submit to theocratic authority and never take any action or speak against elders, you produce an immoral atmosphere where those in power are above the law and can get away with sins and crime in this case.

Technically speaking, you won't be dfd for having different beliefs or for disagreeing with the GB... AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THOSE BELIEFS TO YOURSELF!!! (Proclaimers p. 628)

The moment you discusss your new beliefs with anyone in the WT cult, you are "causing divisions" and will be dfd. JW facts had a c.o. write to the branch about him (Paul Grundy) and the C.O. wrote that disbelief is not a dfing offense. A former D.O. from Australia, that stopped believing in the bible and became inactive was never dfd because he never spoke to others about his beliefs or better said he never spoke bad about the WT corporation (he had posted here yrs ago).

If you really want to irritate the elders, just fade .....that way they cannot label you a mentally diseased apostate. Just stop going to meetings and stop knocking on empty doors. If anyone asks, just tell them you cannot discuss it as you will be dfd. Another option, although somewhat risky is to tell those asking that you are waiting to see if the GB will turn in the pedophile database and apologize for protecting child molesters before you return to the KH and knocking on empty doors. You can also say I'm waiting for the GB to change the belief about..........(you fill in the blank)

in not so subtle hint, the gb likens themselves to moses, and those who disagree with the gb are korah.. paragraph 15 is actually quite damaging to the gb's argument though:.

Update: My current situation

it's been about two months since i stopped attending meetings, came to the conclusion that the org is not the truth, and i'm currently dealing with some problems since leaving the org.

i want to discuss these problems and hopefully get helpful advice.. discovering the truth about ourselves is a lifetime's work, but it's worth the effort - fred rogers.

my current situation in this: i faded and hold off on writing a disassociation letter.

Actually by fading and becoming inactive, you irritate them more as technically you're still a JW albeit inactive. They cannot label you as an apostate. You can have your cake and eat it too. You can appear once every blue moon for political/family reasons and they will feel the pressure to at least acknowledge you when you say hi to them.

By DA yourself, you are no longer a concern to them and they now can label you as a mentally diseased apostate that refuses to worship the Governing Body due to pride.

If anyone asks why no more service or meetings for you....tell them you had an epiphany when the Watchtower magazine stated the GB are not inspired. Tell them you realized that you should be reading the bible as its inspired instead of publications that are not. Tell them you feel guilty for placing the Watchtower organization above the bible and Jesus and you have asked for forgiveness. You are using their own words against them and shouldn't get in trouble.

it's only a matter of time of course..... jw rumor mills will start up soon, with stories of how jws were "first on the scene" as the flood waters receded..... how the red cross and/or us national guard and/or doctors without borders and/or [you name it] were marveling at just how "organized" the jws are..... how zealous jws were pulling their trolleys thru ankle-deep water to "offer comfort" to victims, by giving them - sandwiches?

to offer them comfort by giving them 16 page "magazines" to read in their spare time..... so as the stories start to come in, you can "deposit" those little nuggets of bs here.. once collected, we'll wrap them in a pretty bow and flush them away where other instances of pure manure go..

The problem with Watchtower doing "relief" work and claiming to be a charity is that they are profiting big time! At the same time they blow their horns to the whole world that they are showing true love and compassion. The reality is they should be upfront with everyone and let them know they are there to make a profit and promote the worship of the 7 lords in Warwick. They pay no labor, no taxes, no food or shelter for their volunteers. On top of that they keep the insurance check proceeds.

Not even the mafia are as clever and deceitful as the Watchtower!
