a family that we were really close to (dinners and catch ups several times a month , go out socially often, play sport together, helped them through tough times, like uncle and aunty to their kids, etc).
the wife's father died.

Why didn't they report Stephanie Fesslers abuse to authorities? PENNSYLVANIA IS A REPORTING STATE. Yet the 2 bodies of elders, the service dept at Bethel along with legal dept did not report her abuse!!! -

by James Mixon inlast week in the sunday meeting a sister made a comment and collapsed, a massive heart attack.
one of the young brothers is a fireman and he gave her mouth mouth and according to the doctor this saved her life.
so if she had missed the meeting that day she would have surly died because her husband is not in great health.

Lloyd Barry (GB) died while giving a talk in Hawaii at an International Convention. No protection there for attending meetings.
Australia, a bomb exploded during the public talk. Many were injured and the speaker seriously injured (not sure if he died). No protection for attending meetings.
Just recently (1-2 yrs ago?) Many were poisoned in Africa at a convention. No protection for attending meetings.
Honduras 4-5 yrs ago, a bus full of JW's was headed to preach in an isolated territory. It ran off the cliff and many were killed and injured. Again....No protection for engaging in WT "Theocratic Activities".
Honduras (yes again that country) a plane carrying some 5 elders returning from elder school crashed near Roatan and killed them all. If any one of those elders would've stayed home instead of attending that school, he would .....Surprise!....not have died.
Currently in 2018, Over 8 million people have been scammed and brainwashed to believe that the Governing body are gods channel and that they will never lie to them. Again....No protection there for attending meetings.

What police dept will "ticket" someone for dui and just let him continue driving home? They would be arrested and the car impounded. Don't the GB know this?!!

I can’t find it!
by Truth and Justice ini need some serious help on something that i read here on this board, and so i am going to do my best to explain what i’m looking for.
i need this, so i can’t share with my brother who is still in.. it has to do with the organization saying in affect that each member in the congregation has the right to decide for themselves what they choose to do, (that is whether they choose to be apart of the organization without repercussions) and that they would not think of interfering with our own conscience, and that if they chose otherwise that it would be their own decision.. now some might think that the society wouldn’t write something like that, but they did, and i read it, and after reading it, i said to myself “they don’t follow this, they never have.” .
if you could locate this for me, i would be very grateful!.

Proclaimers page. 628 - That section is talking about "apostates" and it gives examples of prominent persons in the WT that raised troubles for the Borg.
At the end of the page it states that these ones (apostates, troublemakers) certainly had the right to believe in private whatever they wanted to. But the problem lies in TALKING to others or spreading your ideas that are against the WT Corporation that makes a person guilty of causing divisions.
That paragraph can save you from being disfellowshipped even if you tell elders in their face that the WT is a cult and the Governing Body are deceitful, delusional, conmen. As long as you don't go around talking to others about your contrary beliefs.
Freedom of speech is taken away from the JW members.
There was a brief time circa 1980 (Raymond Franz responsible for this) where the WT sent letters to elders and traveling overseers stating that anyone who holds personal beliefs contrary to the Cult would need to be disfellowshipped even if they didn't promote or talk about those beliefs to others. A copy of this letter is in Crisis of Conscience.

Circuit Overseer Pensions and the Implications
by AlanF ini just learned that the watchtower society has instituted a pension plan of sorts for circuit overseers.
this is a big change.. previous to this new plan, the various kinds of "traveling overseers" were pretty much on their own when they retired from the traveling work.
in a few cases, such men were invited to live out their lives in bethel, but in most cases they simply went back to being normal rank and file members who had to fend for themselves financially.. i can only speculate that the reason for this change was that the society has been having difficulty getting elders to become circuit overseers.

I had a C.O. friend that told me he receives an average of $800.00 a week from green handshakes tax free. Add to that a free apartment, cable, meals, vacations paid by elder brown nosers, new car, gas card, healthcare...it's a good life. All you have to do is sacrifice your humanity, brain and conscience.
It's a totally different story for C.O.'s in third world countries though.

The strange case of Gerrit Losch
by Gorbatchov inone of the recent molest cases had a signed declaration of gerrit losch, stating he has no relation with watchtower and that he has no control over watchtower and he does not answer to watchtower.. this month he is hosting the watchtower broadcasting show, on a watchtower media chanel, with a watchtower president starring as co-host, with statements, media and music that have intellectual ownership and copyright by watchtower.. gerrit is asking on broadcasting for respect for “the slave”, just like jehova and jesus respect “the slave” and will even reward them.. are the writers of the statement too stupid to see the correlation between teaching and practicing?.
these man are proven liars.. how can hold this firewall stand?
it’s so thin.. a judge can see this mismach isn’t it??.

This is the same Gerritt Loesch that did a broadcast several years ago about speaking the truth and not making statements that would give the wrong impression to others. This is another example of do as we say but not what we do.
Justice and Truth are thrown out of the window the moment that it undermines their authority or exposes them as deceitful con men.
