as most people will know, the watchtower magazine is the principle publication used by the watch tower society (wts) to teach its own brand of religious doctrine to those known as jehovah's witnesses (jws).

why is the 15 july 2013 watchtower so important?

This July 2013 study addition will be the hottest subject for years to come, especially since Armageddon STILL hasn't come yet, as predicted by the FDS.

Working on a Sunday.

well i wouldn't really call it hard work, but i have to come into the office and sit and wait for the phone to ring.

i work every 3rd weekend and it really is unpleasant.

9 hours each day with nothing to do but wait for the phone to ring.

NVR2l8, you are so right. Remember assemblies where the whole three days, Friday through Sunday were spent in cramped sports arena seats struggling to stay awake? Sometimes we had to travel for hours to get there? The little kids were so miserable and they got spanked for simply expressing themselves. What a terrible way to waste precious time.

HOT OFF THE PRESS: ZO talk in Japan

this is literally hot off the press as in from about half an hour ago.. we have a friend from nz (who is wavering and knows our situation) and he is on holiday in japan at the moment.

today there was a zone overseer talk that he went to in nagoya (southern japan) and it has just finished up.

straight after the song and still in the stadium he emailed us the info below.

How to fade?

i am suppose to become an unbaptized publisher in a few days.

however ive changed my mind.

i finished my bible study and progressing in the org.

I am so happy to hear that you haven't taken this too far. You don't need to fade, you can just drop out. Tell them the truth that you found out it wasn't the truth. Don't let your emotional involvement with your jw friends to keep you even temporarily enslaved in this dangerous religious movement.

my name es juan, im from mexico, im catholic and my wife is a jehovah witness, expelled, of course.. therefore, she still believes in the organization, and she said that they were fine with her expulsion, cause she deserve it, cause our marriage with me.

any help, or someone with a similar experience will be good for me.

Need advice in my fade

i'm about 4 months into my fade- things were going ok at first.

if i didn't get ready to go to the meeting or fs, neither did my family.

recently, hubby has become more sensitive and now will take the family whether i go or not.

You have received great advice here, but the bottom line is: don't let your children be raised in a cult. You are there mother and protect them, momma bear.
