Where the need is greater: TTATT in Spanish
by Londo111 init seems most of the us growth is in spanish-speaking territory, and of course, there is growth in the nations where spanish is the predominant language.
most sites oriented around ttatt, are english-speaking.
there seems then to be a great need for translators...for instance, imagine if there was a spanish version of www.jwfacts.com.. unfortunately, i dont speak this language.

You know Crisis of Conscience is also available in Spanish. Be sure to link that to jwfacts English and Spanish. It could save thousands of peoples lives.

Great story. I would have beat it out of there with the bullet holes and all the walks outside just to relieve yourself.

The watchtower quoting itself as if it were scripture about weddings...
by EndofMysteries inthe 1997 wt, 4/15 page 26 is about weddings and more rules the wt tries to enforce to take the fun out of even weddings.
"while a disfellowshipped person could be allowed to attend the talk at the kingdom hall, the watchtower of april 15, 1984, said: it would be unfitting to have in the wedding party people who are disfellowshipped or whose scandalous life-style grossly conflicts with bible principles.
- isn't that funny?

At my daughters wedding, one of the elders teenage sons hijacked the DJ and had him play really bad, tasteless and obscure songs at the reception. I paid the DJ and felt he had no right to change the choices my daughter and the groom had chosen. Elders kids can be the worst offenders at the hall.

10 Years out of the JW Organization- What I've Learned ( For what it's Worth)
by flipper in10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

by thedog1 inam reading coc at the moment, about half way through.
just finished reading some of the details of what happened in malawi and mexico years ago.
which reminded me that in the early 80's a very well known elder in the country i was then living in went to new york as he had discovered all the discrepencies between what had happened in malawi and in mexico and wanted to know what the gb had to say about it.

The Watchtower Society is racist and there is no doubt about it once you learn of the Mexico-Malawi scandal.
