Yes..but they will say that "we are not taking copies of the reciept, only the person who donates gets a copy". But since a POS has to be ran on a sever, possibly one of thiers, isn't there some type of electronic transaction record...or is the transaction completely ran thru a 3rd party so the WT doesn't have to know about it. When it comes to transactions between a reciever and a giver, their has to be a record of some kind on both ends unless dealing in cash. Even if you write a check, your bank sends you a copy of the transaction in the mail saying the WT cashed it. The WT also gets a record of transaction saying that the check was cleared. Maybe WT should use paypal.

Cult of Personality
by iamwhoiam init's funny how when you are able to take a step back an look at the big picture...you start to notice things that are just a bit wierd.. for instance...at the meeting the other night, we all sang song number 58 (notice the first verse).
then look at the songs in the rest of the songbook...and you will see that verses of this nature are in pretty much every other song.
keep singing these over and over at the kh and you begin to memorize them and eventually find yourself singing or humming them later without realizing it.

Yep..thats the one.
"Take my mind, that I may serve Fully, Lord, without reserve"
This all sounds like some big consipiracy theory I know, in fact, it is just a theory. but when you have people, music, talks, etc that tell you how to think, to not question anything and accept...it can cause loss of identity. again, it's just a theory. it's kinda like playing those connect the dots games when you were a kid, and then realizing that it actually forms a picture.

Music is a powerful thing, especially when the words cause you to loose your own identity and to give your mind up to the borg.

July 2011 Awake, LMAO @ Cover
by Yan Bibiyan inmag available here.
setting is obviously in the "new system", i'd say quite some time after the big a. everything looks neat and clean, so it can't be just few months or even years after the big slaughter.. let me point out few things that made me laugh:.
every effort was made to depict natural materials, but you see leather straps with metal rivets holding the picnic basket lids.

bible cards...thats funny. I remember in the 80s when i was pre-teen...my mother and father made me throw away my baseball card collection because our CO gave a talk in our hall, saying that...collecting baseballs cards and other sports memorabilia is considered by Jehovah (governing body) a form of idolitry.
but im glad for new light, because now we can collect bible cards. how do you like them apples mom? :p

Today's Lesson (Too funny)
by iamwhoiam inwt 12/15 2010 koolaid edition p. 11 paragragh 17.
"rather than feel frustrated or discouraged because jehovah's day seems to be delayed, we should be glad that there is still time for us to be zealous for true worship.".
since the future and the past do not exist except as concepts in the now, than how can knowing what is to come even possible?.
