Maximum Damage to the WT.

i have to hand it to the society.

they understand the power of organization.

they demonstrate that no matter how ridiculous your message and how much the facts don't support your position you can still accomplish a lot if you are organized.

Stage One: Somehow we have to get our politicians to redefine "freedom of religion". Of course we should all be free to believe in whatever we want - even super power sky gods.. if that's what we want. But that freedom must not be used as a cover for a freedom to coerce, to extort, to threaten and to lie to people.. and that's exactly what the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses does!

Stage two: Start a class action lawsuit against the current Governing Body. They are now a multi-million dollar corporation. Let's bankrupt them out of existence! After that those evil old men should be prosecuted for their role in inciting parents to refuse permission to give essential blood transfusions to their children.

Stage 3: Organize street parties to celebrate the destruction of this most evil organization!

Blood transfusion policy 1916 - 1945

the technique of transfusing blood was mastered in the year 1916, but jehovah god chose to give "increased light" to the governing body re transfusions in 1945 (july 1st watchtower).

if giving and receiving blood is such a terrible offence to god why didn't he enlighten us in 1916?

If giving and receiving blood is such a terrible offence to God why didn't He enlighten us in 1916? Why wait 29 years? Does anyone have any Witness literature re blood transfusions prior to 1945? I've seen one pro-transfusion article in a 1940 "Consolation" but surely there has to be more than that?

PS If your child needs a blood transfusion to survive and you refuse permission, and then he dies.... how is that not murder?!

I suspect that all those hand-wringing global warming alarmists are beginning to sweat. Remember that upward sweep at the end of the Michael Mann hockey stick temperature graph? If that was true, shouldn't the evidence of runaway global warming be obvious by now? My favourite quote is from David Viner of the C.R.U. in the year 2000,“within a few years winter snowfall will be a very rare and exciting event”.

Man made global warming is just like a religion, a, Armageddon-is-just-around-the-corner, religion. Yeah that's it, JW's, Armageddon is going to OVERLAP with global warming!!!
