  Your thoughts on demons, ghosts and spirits

  as a jw were taught all about demons but i never had an incident.

  my wife believes wholeheartedly says her family including her has had problems with them.

  i have met people that even non religious people that say they have experienced a ghost or a spirit.

  jw.org getting out of hand

  it seems the watchtower staff have made a runaway train with the introduction of the mark jw.org.. the combination of using a gadget driven platform and the fact that the common jw is low educated and easely influenced.

  by new occurrings in their religion makes the situation getting out of hand.. proof: gb members wearing jw.org buttons during their speech, gifts with jw.org are given away, umbrellas with the jw.org are available.

  jw.org is more important then god, his son and the gospel.. it's the gadget and the jw.org mark that counts.. i am so happy my grandparents are not confronted with these idiots.. it's a runaway train heading to the end of the track.. gorby .

  The INTJ Personality Type, (and those close to it)

  i am compelled to write a bit about this at this late hour here in the us, because it is keeping me up.. the recent four year old thread on the briggs myers personality type test that was dug up, produced an interesting finding.

  many here, (at least tested informally for), the intj personality type.

  intjs also do not understand irrational behavior particularly well at all.. why does this matter?

  INTP here. I'm fascinated with MBTI, and I'll explain the INTJ type a little bit:

  I= Introversion. The best and most interesting people you know, dwells inside your head.

  Ni= Introverted Intuition. Dominant function in INTJ's. It's a subconscious function, gives you a sense of focus and probability in an abstract way. "This shit WILL happen".

  Te= Extroverted Thinking. Secondary function, it's a conscious function, gives you the ability to invent things related to your environment.

  Fi= Introverted Feeling. Conscious function, gives you the sense of a strong internal conviction based on very personal values.

  Se= Extroverted Sensing. The shadow function in INTJ's. It's a subconscious function, is repressed by the Ni, and enables you to catch instant concrete details from the environment.

  J= Judging. Narrow your decisions to small options and drives you to act upon the environment.

  Ni, Fi and J makes an INTJ a very very focused person, a person who cannot procrastinate, it's a person who needs to action. Sometimes INTJ's can be very paranoid.

  A good example of a fictional INTJ is the Ozymandias from Watchmen. Dr. Manhatan is an INTP.

  Batman is an INTJ too. Spider-man is an INTP.

  Issac Newton was an INTJ. Eistein is the quintessential INTP.

  This world is the best place for ESFJ's and ESFP's. They are the vast majority of people.

  INTJ's and INFJ's are the rarest, followed by INTP's. The 3 together made aprox. 5% of the world population.

  INTJ's are super strategists and INTP's deeper analysts.

  Expressions on faces at DC/RC

  i have become more observant at the last couple district conventions of jws faces and enthusiasm and it seems to be very somber.

  i remember a couple of years ago i was an attendant at one of the upper sections at the blue cross arena in rochester, ny and in afternoon session at least half were curled up with their eyes closed, some with blankets.

  the applause seems very forced and mechanical.

  These arenas are typically designed for events that last 2-4 hours. The discrap crapventions are 3 consecutive 8 hr. days or so. It can easily overload the ventilation and plumbing systems.)

  let's be technical.

  the bronze age ended in 1200 bce in devoloped places and later ... aroun 900-800 in other places.

  indeed read 1 samuel 13's ending.. the bible was produced not one tiny bit in the bronze age.

  random = possibility in a small or known number of elements. like skipping musis tracks in a CD.

  chance = possibility in a huge or unknown amount of elements. like the number of grains of sand in a beach.

  evolutionary mutations happens by chance. like a radiation beam coming from the Pleiades in a crazy angle through our atmosphere hits a "letter" of the DNA of the left testicle of a drone bee while flying causing a mutation in his DNA. see? so crazy we assume is a chance but some assume is Jehovah.

  just a quick reminder of the "evolved" culture we live in:.

  1- we live in a time where the humanity of a child is not determined by science [chromosomes, dna] but by the feelings of the mother.. 2- gender used to be determined by the objective anatomical, psychological, and genetical differences..now based purely on your emotional self.. 3- philosophy used to be a discipline which sought for ultimate truth, arguments were deliberated, calculated, and worldviews challenged.

  humanity sought to know why we believe not just what we believe.

  One language in the new system

  so at the convention, one of the talks was about how all people will speak a single language in the new system.

  my ears perked up when i heard at the outset "now, we can't be dogmatic about this" because that immediately makes me think that they're backing away from a previously dogmatic stance.

  he went on to say that everyone will be speaking hebrew in the new system because "evidently" (another word that gets my ears to perk up these days) that was what was spoken before the languages were confused at bable.
