  then why would they be so insistent about dfing people ?

  if it's money the watchtower org is after, it seems like they'd want to hold on to all the members they can.. how would you answer this logic?.

  Good question.

  It's related to purpose. Purpose + Money.

  WT wants money by accomplishing their purpose.

  Their purpose is to control, micro management of 7mi of people around the world. And they want money doing that because it's their purpose.

  Your question is the same of "Why Google does not make food?" or "Why McDonalds does not make software?".

  They could turn the WT in a big fast food company if you think just in money. But they don't want to abandon their purpose in first place.

  WT purpose: Listen Obey and Be Blessed. Control, control, control....

  i talked to my brother today who is still a practicing jw (i've managed to fade) .

  we were talking and suddenly he asked me if i thought satan could read my mind.

  and he said "yeah i though the answer was yes and then i found out that satan cant read my mind".

  Some Ideas About Reincarnation/Rebirths/Past Lives And DNA

  the subject has got me wondering.. they say buddha when he got enlightened under the the bodhi tree after vowing not to stop meditating untill he reached his goal/enlightenment.durring this momentous time he experienced a billion past lives.. what i'm thinking is that these people that experience this type of enlightenment are reading thier junk dna, which is a file of their evolutionary past that is encoded in the turned off genes of junk dna which is really a step by step recording of our evolutionary past that gets turned on briefly durring our formation in the womb from a one celled organism to a new born baby.. so i think just as their is an evolutionary process to build a human being starting from conception to a fully grown human built into our dna filing system that gets turned on durring conception, and that this proceess is what one is experiencing when one like the buddha meditates himself into an altered state of conciousness and has the experience of having lived many past lives..

  Don't try to use christian literalism in buddhism.

  Buddhism use a lot of poetry and fantastic telling to explain mental processes. Buddhism copes with subjective experimentation of the world, so you cannot expect to set an orthodox interpretation of the Dharma.

  BTW there's no concept of reincarnation in buddhism, neither soul or God.

  The oldest buddhist school of thought (Theravada) take rebirths as happening in just one and single lifetime. As you-child it's not the same person as you-old, and there's just an illusory sense of continuity between several "you's" in your lifetime, every you is (in any sense) a different person. Because you are not a single entity (soul) but a dynamic process.

  That's buddhism in a nutshell. You can think about reincarnation and junk DNA but there's nothing about that related to buddhism. Try to use something else to support your "theory".
