July 2009 Awake!

i am trying to get my hands on a july 2009 awake, which many of you know to be the one the gb blatenly showed their hypocrisy, with regard to dfing/shunning.. anywho, i know i can just go to a kh and ask for one, but i don't need the elders asking if i want to "repent" and come back....etc... what is funny is i just had two witness come to my door a few minutes ago and they asked for "spanish speaking" people.
wouldn't you think if this was the truth and they would want everyone to know, not try and be political about the spanish speaking vs. english speaking territories???.

thanks therevealer! I can peruse the details easier here..
I have seen pdfs of it also. If I can get my hands on the actual copy...it would first suprise my family because in the 20 years DF'd I have NEVER had a debate or questioned much...so if I had an acutal copy whilst speaking with them, it would throw their "brainwashed" (I agree with you looloo) minds off a bit, time enough for me to get my reasonings in. ;)
The shunning is the worst, it just destroys families, and if you believe in a God as creator/God in general, why would he want and encourage (per the Bible, that misc. men wrote, their own accounts or memories) this type of behavior?
ahhh the wonders of religion...the chaos of organized religion....

You are correct!!
Their favorite line is, "your taking that out of context"...but after reading it there's not much to take out of context.
I know they are being fed info. in the assemblies and meetings from the "flock" book, not that my family is actuallly reading it, I realize that and honestly I'm not looking to win, just to point it out... :)

If anyone has one/can spare on can get there hands on one, I would appreciate getting my hands on it so I can use it in a conversation with my family.
I have been DF'd for 20ys. now, and can honestly tell you things have been ok up til about 8mo. algo. I know the "The Flock..." elders book/guide came out and was heavy handed with regard to their rules about DF'd people/family, so I have recently felt the shunning in a big way.
