I'm 16 and I might be pregnant In a JW household

okay, i don't even know where to start.

i'm 16, i live in a strict jw household and i know if i am pregnant (which is a big possibility) ..i know i'm doomed to a life of misery.

not because of my baby but because of my family and the isolation and judgement from the congregation.

sweet16, you need to find out if your pregnant. please have someone by your side when you find out. if you are those words will hit like a brick & you will cry, the 1st thought will be I have to get an abortion as you settle down that will pass. Give yourself some time to think, then you can decide what you are going to do. If you are not, then go to the doctor & find out about contraceptives, sex is one of those things that once you start you cant stop. What ever happens I ashore you it isn't the end of the world even if it feels that way now. You are obviously a very smart young lady as you are asking for help & advice. It`s a mistake so hold your head up & know that you are a good person. we will be here to listen. Big hug.

this little jw went to bethel, this little jw stayed in the cong, this little jw abused a child, this little jw hid it all in the files & this little jw went lies lies lies lies all the way to the royal commission. That's my hubbies.

Discussing the RC with a friend and my JW wife was listening.

i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

my wife was in another part of the house but heard my phone ring and so she came to listen, i did not realize this, because when the phone rang i closed two doors between myself and my wife.

she opened the first door and started listening to the conversation.

magnum, I completely agree with what your saying. the apostel paul counsels " if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he is deceiving his own mind (gal 6:3). They are always pointing at everybody else. but don't you think that half the reason for this is that they have been forbidden to look behind the curtain? I never realized how frightening it could be to one, until I faced some difficulties of my own. you gotta dig deep & fight the withdrawal, its almost like an addiction, your afraid of all the realities you gotta face without the WT fix. sometimes it can overwhelm a person.

Can Somebody here list All The Lies and Deceptions Given at the Royal Commission , By all the J.W.`s who Appeared ?

i am just wondering if somebody { who has been following the royal commission in australia can highlight all of the sleight of hand , deceptions , half truths , theocratic warfare tactics , misleading statements , untruths , omissions to the truth ,lying , feigned support for the victim , while not reporting her plight to the relevant authorities , etc.,etc.,} , can list these in one document , that would be a testament to anybody how culpable jehovah`s witnesses / wtb&ts are , in not protecting their own members , or members of the general public by not reporting such abuse to the relevant authorities ,when they had a duty to do so by law , not pertaining to mandatory reporting, but protecting the larger community .. ( i wish i wasn`t so old and had greater computer skills.).

You know what i had to turn this off half way through. It make feel angry that they put out a video like this, it gives witnesses the excuse they need to go SEE she got over it why cant you, wow the empathy, Jehovahs witnesses care. Do they hell. I suppose on a more positive note at least they are doing something. If it helps one person then thats good. I dont want to see it.

Does Jehovah Really Care?

Bashful, i believe God cares. Sometimes us humans get in to a place where its just to painful to keep swimming, it seems for just a moment that it would be better for everyone if we no longer breath. Do you have a help line you can ring? Dont be scared pick up the receiver dial the number & say "i`m feeling a little overwhelmed today" the person on the other end will take it from there. You are not alone. Big Hug for you.
