  Shocking development from Australian Royal Commission

  it is reported that elder kevin bowditch was so upset at the grilling he received at the arc that he has traveled to austin, texas to prepare for any future encounters with angus stewart.. we see from various stages of the interrogation his increasing anguish.

  he is reported as saying in private, '.. that's never going to happen again.

  i think i was hung up and left out to dry by the governing body.

  it doesn't surprise me, these men have been put on a peddle stool for years, with the belief that God was going to protect them. I`m sure they thought at the time (because they were stupid) that following the directions of the GB they were protecting Jehovahs name. Of cause no-one has called them to account for their actions before. Angus Stewart forced with his clear cut reasoning, them to really think about the children & how it would have been for them. How the way that they handled things was so damaging that it is truly this organization that has given God a bad rap. His face (Kevin Bowditch) when told he didn't care about any of the children outside the org was a picture of utter disbelieve. He had never seriously considered how unbelievably wicked that actually was. I hope his conscience has haunted him. Maybe he will be moved to write a letter of apology to the victims all on his own.

  there was these 2 ugly blokes who couldn't get a shag. they went to all the bars & clubs & yet no joy, the girls didn't want to know. so they decided to split up. The next day over a beer bloke 1 said "well, I got no joy & it wasn't for not trying. What about you" bloke 2 said" well I thought my night was gonna be a waste of time, then on the way home I found this girl with a body like heaven tied to the railway line. So I untied her took her home & warmed her up. She was so grateful that she gave it to me, in any position I wanted. It was amazing". bloke 1 said "I don't believe it, how lucky can you get, did she give you a blow job?". bloke 2 " she would have except I couldn't find her head.

  I had requested them to put shepherding concerns in writing.

  last week, i had requested the elders to put their shepherding concerns in writing and that only one elder visits me because i am uncomfortable with two.

  well, today they approached me and said we are not able to write to you and we are going to see you the two of us.

  i felt how inconsiderate and disrespectful of individuals the watchtower machinery is.

  so i ran into this brother whom ive known for a while and the conversation led into me being invited to come back to the kingdom hall.

  we talked for about an hour during which time i explained to him 607 being the wrong date and a lot of other stuff including the child abuse cases in australia.

  but what i wanted to relate was the last few minutes of our conversation.

  ME & MY family are happy, I have a job, I have a home, I have 2 great kids, what else do I need, why would I want to disrupt that. theres a lot of I`s in there. this is the thing, a lot of Jw`s are in not because they want to see suffering of others come to end but for themselves. They want more, they want it all. F... the poor starving kids in other countries, F... the abused kids, infact F.... everybody else, it`s all about me. I sure hope nothing happens to his kids, cause that's the type of farther who wouldn't believe they were telling the truth. He wouldn't want his life to be disrupted. How very sad.

  in today's wt study it makes the point that just glancing at the opposite sex is flirting and can lead to sex!.

  so are jw's now to wear blinkers?.

  also jw's are told to go and confess to the elders if they have any immoral thoughts?!!.

  Brandnew yes us women are beautiful. I`ve said before no man has the right to say we`re not. want prove. Go get naked, leave on socks, look in the mirror. PROVE. Billy you have such a great sense of humour, I love it. theres nothing more sexy than a man that can make a girl laugh.

  New Inactive One Saying Hello to all

  lostwun here, i joined 2 months ago but am now just finding the courage after doing more research to formally introduce myself to the board and embrace my new beginnings as an ex-jw.

  i am a second-generation jw.

  i grew up with parents who are well known and very respected in many circuits.

  Lostwun, its good to meet you. Toesup`s idear is a good one, you mentioned how far away you are from your family. This could make you very sad & depressed use it to your advantage. Also lots of people have found the Bonnie Zieman book helpful, EXiting the JW Cult. I`ve just started going through it & am finding it a great comfort. As for your husband just love & support his choices the best you can. You don't have to lie about anything. there is a time to speak & a time to keep quiet. That is sound advise. I`m guessing you still love the scriptures so hold on to that. SABIN

  Women are Women and Men are men in the Real World , apparently not in J.W.`s world.

  according to j.w.`s the 144000 are a literal number of people , both men and women taken from the earth to rule with christ jesus in the heavens .this would also include judging in this role.

  (see another thread about women as judges).

  women in the religion of j.w.`s have no place in leadership roles ,cannot be elders , ministerial servants , or serve in any position of authority , and have no teaching voice in any congregation .. yet faithful anointed women can , upon their death rule with christ jesus in heaven for 1000 years according to j.w.

  smiddy they are women, haven't you seen the facial hair on some of the older sisters? I think it unfair they can grow beards when the brothers cant.
