  so im at my moms the other day, and there lay the latest january study issue has an article about the whole made up silly story of the upper room and the holy spirit.

  [ how hard it is to be quiet....] .

  i have never read acts, and saw that story happen.

Don't you know that he is in heaven at this very minuet sitting on a throne wearing his crown dressed in priestly robes supping wine with Jesus reading our disgraceful posts? Oh if only we could all be like such a man who sacrificed so much for so many, so kind, so warm, so giving.. You know if the Son of God's expectations are met with men like Russel, Rutherford, Norr, Franz etc, I don't think the rest of us have to much to worry about a.

  Alan Rickman's Passing

  alan rickman, best known to my generation as prof. severus snape from the harry potter film franchise, has passed away due to cancer at the age of 69.. growing up with a witness mother, anything related to science fiction and fantasy was looked down upon, so, naturally, i was a rebel rebel (oh david bowie...).. just wanted to let any potterheads know the news and that even if you feel like you'll never be free of the deadly watchtower, you're not alone and there's hope.. always..

  i had some quirky personality traits, and i joined finding that i fit in because, as i said to myself: these people get me.

  it is regarding the new format for the meeting on thursdays in my area.

  I feel compelled to say something, we speak out against the WTBTS we say what we have discovered about their doctrines & how they are untruths. As a result millions of rank & file JW's tear down our characters, name calling, saying we lie saying we tell stories & we don't like it.

  If you don't believe what JA has written then all well & good, but is it necessary to be so mean?

  they will accept christmas gifts from co workers most of the time.

  just can't be wrapped in christmas paper.

  Oh my goodness I'm so ashamed, that was me, I would never buy anything before the celebrations in case I stumbled some-one. But in my defence I always paid half price LOL so I reckon that I will just keep right on doing it, for that reason alone now though.

  another thread got me thinking of this issue.

  i don't think you'll ever come across a set of people with such a skewed and twisted outlook on life.. my memory serves me well when i recall a sort of blood lusting excitement over things like the 9/11 atrocities.

  in fact i remember jw's describing the event as 'sad but exciting.

  It's because you cant see outside the box when your in, your basically told what to think. It is true that a lot of young ones when they leave do go abit nuts but I think that's cause they never got to develop their own values, so they lack maturity & have been so supressed aswell as hormones all over the place. As for the religion itself, it is passive-aggressive so what else can we expect. We have all been there looking forward to the end of the system, for most they just want to see the wrongs in the world be put right, they are so focused on all the bad on the outside they neglect to realize that they are supporting one of the cruellest cults in the world today.
