So if they would want to HIDE ca$h offshore, would they use easily identifiable names like Jehovah, Watch Tower, Jw.org etc in the name of their shell company? I didn't think so.
Even if the WT would do the dirty work of creating the offshore companies themselves instead of using an outside expert, one would need to know which people inside the WT would most likely be responsible for creating the offshore companies and search for those persons instead. But knowing how tight lipped the WT is about their finances, its very likely that nobody possesses such information outside of the US HQ accounting dept.
Besides... JW.borg IS already in a tax paradise... The US, where religions are tax free...

Hello
by WITNESS-FOR-WATCHTOWER-REFORM injust to say a big hello.
i have been reading this site for some time now and have been very unhappy with some of the things emanating from watchtower head quarters in new york.
the final straw for me is the upcoming watchtower study this weekend encouraging us to shun our own family members (our own mothers if need be) if they are disfellowshipped....a step too far for my liking.

Welcome, and remember, if you use your own identity when writing them, next thing you know there will be two elders from your congregation at your doorstep. -

you are invited to visit the equipment trailers to acquire items being liquidated by the rbc asset team, these items will be offered on a first come bases with voluntary donation.
if you see any item you like please be in position to take it with you at that time, after you return to your congregation then you will make a donation of cash or check in the congregation contribution box designated for the support of the worldwide work.

Greetings
by Pioneerbot inwanted to say hi.
i've been lurking for a long time.
i also spend time on other forums.

Hello pioneerbot, I'm happy for you that you have woken up! You are also very brave to present your findings to your husband.
So are you still a pioneer?
I am also mentally out - physically "in". I was a pioneer for over 10 years, I quit few months ago, my wife is still a pioneer but sometimes she has "lucid" days when she realizes it's all a scam - then she goes back to WT and is more pious as ever. But I'm working on it. I think it's the social aspect that keeps her in.
Good luck for you!

Proof that the lingiusts are lying about words used in the bible IE: Shaddai, Angels, Elohim, Yhwh?
by Crazyguy inin 1967 an archeologist found at tell el-deir alla an inscription that they called the book of balaam son of beor.
this looks to be about the same balaam that's talked about in the bible book of numbers.
remember the guy where his donkey is talking to him.

Well thanks for bringing that inscription to our attention, I for one hear about it the first time now. -

First thoughts on "new" meeting...
by konceptual99 inhad a quick look at the workbook and flicked through the sample meeting video.. the increased use of video shows the trend for more centralised dissemination of "best practice" .
sure there isn't really a "school" any more and the format is a bit different but i think those that called it as the same old crap just in new package got it pretty much right.

The guy who introduces this vid, he looks more like one of the people who are really in charge of this corporation. Not the usual soppy GB member, this guy looks like a hit man.
Yeah, I thought he looked a little like Lorne Malvo (Billy Bob Thornton) from Fargo.
