I feel so happy for you. I can certainly relate to the bit about where you told that sister a thing or two. I had a clearing of the air similiar to yours, I also felt that the relationship improved....it's really not healthy to be holding thoughts back when you know somethings WRONG.....so many JW's are stuck with that, they cannot utter their doubts.
I too, am doing my best to avoid being D'fed due to friends and family. If I was D'fed for an unjust reason ie. reasoning that the borg is WRONG,then I would really get angry........I would go out of my way to tell other JW's the TRUTH.
Does anyone else feel like this? What would you do? Print pamphlets etc?

some times the inconstancies and contradictions in the watchtower literature seems almost unbelievable.
the double standard of the watchtower writers seems to be without limit.. one of the explanations for this is that some watchtower articles deals with how jehovah's witnesses want to be perceived and how they want to be treated by society in general, and the contradictory articles deals with how the faithful and loyal witnesses should regard their enemies and outsiders.
in psalm 139 this is spoken of as a complete hatred.

I have just started to read the book called.....would you believe it....ENEMIES. (found it in the loft) Seems to me that they are obsessed with enemies. They clearly make many!!
You sure are dead meat, if you no longer believe EVERYTHING that they utter. It makes me so mad! Jesus would not treat people like that, he would ANSWER with sound reasoning.......the org. cannot do this, so they HAVE sink low, and put FEAR into their believers, fear and hatred. This is terrible.
I shall post a few 'gems' from the book as I wade through it. It all helps to understand the clearly imperfect HUMAN brain behind what is published.....they clearly share a brain!

i have read the various posts here an i have my own story to tell i amstill a witness not as active as i used to be but stillfaithful i think the main problem that jws have is that they put c.o's m.s's elders and the like on pedestals and when you do that you set yourself up for a letdown and when that person does something you dont think is right you are letdown but one should not let this block his/her relationship with jehovah.

even though i have not been a publisher for many years now, i still assoicate week-ends with taking the group out in service and baby sitting a lot of the kids from the hall.

I can't believe it that we all feel the same!
I used to dread the weekend, especially Sundays. I was so glad that the weekend was over, to go back to my fultime job. yes, the guilt would be terrible if you dared 'take a day off' in the Summer to go out for a day.....it just was'nt worth it.(well, yes actually it was ) You would have to get ready for the many questions asking where you were, the freedom now is truly fantastic.
The people like ourselves that post on the internet sites really helped me to loose the guilt quite quickley, so THANK YOU all for posting!!
