  Twins have arrived!!!

  i feel like i've been away from this place for eons now and it's probably true, none the less, i feel on top of the world.. my wife gave birth to a set of the most beautiful boys one could ever dream of last monday and i am absolutely elated, whooooooaaaah.. i can tell you all is well is well with mother (a godess) and children (sons of god almighty himself, me .

  what can i say say other than telling the whole world about it including you guys.

  i am curious.

  how many here have served time at or have relatives that have served at bethel?

  i have heard different stories when people came back.

  I don't have any relatives in bethel,but I have known a brother who has been there for quite a long time. When I knew him well, he was so funny, one of the warmest people I know. I caught up with him a few years ago at an assembley. I was embarrassed at just how much he had changed. Cold, worried looking, not atall the person I knew back them. Perhaps he had other worries that day, I don't know. I can't say anymore about this, but he was very 'out of character'......Such a shame for someone so young.

  I suspect that for many the 'generation' change is taking it's toll....they are sick of waiting.

  being parents, as we know isnt a very easy job for anyone.

  for jehovah's witnesses it is even more difficult.

  there is so much devilish hereditary tendencies that you have to beat out of your children.

  Thanks for drawing this garbage to our attention.

  It's frightening to know that the younger parent's do imitate their older parents, who were fed this dangerous nonsense. The society has offered very little 'advice' in rearing children of late. Perhaps it's because, the main thing which children need is [b]time[b/] with their parents. Time, which is difficult enough to find without the demands of 3/5 meetings, ministry, family study, meeting preparation, item preparation (if your a parent)etc.

  I have been in the Org. long enough to have it well established in my mind that the outcome of many a meeting with the elders, depends a lot on whether or not they actually like the person in question....frightening is'nt it??

  i would sincerely like to know what is so wrong with jehovah's witnesses.

  i invite anyone to post here.

  please use facts not personal opinions.. i am not interested in dates, the blood issue, nor the disfellowshipping issue since i am conviced that these do not prove that they are wrong.. i am weighing in to see if you as an opposer of jehovah's witnesses have the facts or not.

  One of the BIG Bragg’s of the GB is that they are guided by Jehovah.

  I find such statements as the above, to be disgustingly presumptuous. How do you think God feels about such statements? What a fool they make him look! How dare they say such things, all the while feeling that they have his approval. They make him look a liar, and a God of disorder.

  Here are just a few accounts for you to consider. I’m quite sure that you can think of others yourself.

(2 Samuel 6:6, 7)So, if we do not know what to do or whether we are authorized to do something, we should display modesty and consult those having discernment. (Proverbs 11:2; 13:10) Of course, if we have ever been presumptuous, we should pray for forgiveness and ask God to help us guard against presumptuousness in the future.

  Did I do the right thing?

  my wife is still a loyal dub, and i allow her to take my son (13 years) and daughters (9 & 11) to the meetings, assemblies and on the service.

  i cannot talk to her about her beliefs because, well, she refuses to talk about them.

  she knows that i no longer believe, but not much in the way of detail.

  Meet for a coffee in Toronto!

  the coffee break get together is going to be tuesday, july 17th, starting at 6pm (for those that can't make it right at 6pm) and ending whenever.... i'll be e-mailing the actual location and directions for the out-of-towners driving in (plenty of parking nearby) or taking the go train transit in (it will be on the ttc subway line)!.
