don't count on too much mercy my fine featherd friends,,,hehehe,,,lol...!after your reinstated,it will take 20 to 30 years before the dubs start to forget your sorted past.....and you all know this right?so why bother crawling back with you little tail between your legs,so a bunch of glorious elders can save face before the rank and file?no one should be df okay,as this was not the teachings of jesus,only paul who wrote this stuff,but could some wacko in the last 2000 years have inserted this satanic practice into the scriptures to control the masses and manipulate them?the apostle paul wrote too many contradictions in his writings,so why trust in anything that he wrote about?why trust the gb in hq/nyc as to their writings in these past 130 years,since everything that they wrote about is all lies,,,hehehe lol...!who is going to disfellowship them in the hq department for being liars?maybe jehovah will do it in his own due time?.

It depends on the person, but generally there is always going to be a stigma. That's why a lot of people move to a different area where they have no history once they get reinstated, and even then, once it's known they were once disfellowshipped they may still have to deal with the nonsense albeit not as much.

The best thing (if one has to go back) would be for the person to AT LEAST move to a different circuit.

i hated going from door to door.

it was really bad when the neighbors would call each other and say that we had arrived.. what pests we were!.

now, i don't bother anyone if i can help it!

I ALWAYS hated the d2d work. HATED it. It was never something I could ever get used to.

I was that brother that would do d2d for an hour then request to go on RVs. I knew most of them weren't even at home but it was an excuse to get away from that horrendously embarassing work. Also, I deliberately worked with those who had a ton of RVs and bible studies because I knew we wouldn't even be on the d2d work for long if at all.

Some people used to do whole days doing only d2d work.....I could never do that in a million years. I resent that the Society actually makes people go out and do it...but I guess it's easy for those at the top since they never have to do it themselves.

Who else used to hope that no one was at home?

one of our most dogmatic, authoritarian elders at the congregation i used to attend made this comment.. .

the wts has beat the drum of absolute authority so long and hard that the idea of free will, or even the notion of a god who might take in to consideration the wants, likes, and desires of his own people has been strangled out of the jw psychology.. .

in one of his talks, brother that's final informed the congregation that it is pointless for us to engage in speculation about how our lives will be in the new system.

This "brother" can just piss right off. Not that the muthical future paradise earth is ever going to occur anyway, but even when I was on the way out I knew I would never want to live forever with a bunch of people I can't stand anyway.

But no, this fool just managed to make the supposedly future paradise hope unappealing. I don't even know this guy and already I just wanna slap the taste out his mouth.

I'm so glad to be away from that ridiculous, crazy group!

the latest august 15th watchtower study edition features an interesting review of the society's annual meeting.. one comment struck me as evidence that the governing body isn't quite as "discreet" as it claims.. here is what the article said:.

"there are plans to develop a 248-acre (100 ha) property at warwick.

'although we are not yet certain of jehovahs will regarding warwick,' said brother pierce, 'we are proceeding to develop the site with the intention of relocating the world headquarters of jehovahs witnesses there.

I really hope this is the beginning of the end for them. I heard they put off doing this big move ever since 9/11 occured and wanted to just focus on the preaching work. Now over 10 years later, they decide they want to undergo the move after all??? The sad thing is, so many JWs have their heads stuck up their asses they won't even begin to sense that something is wrong here.
