I've read it a few times. I doubt I'll bother to read it again.

So RubyLucy is the same. Interesting but low on the scale of sins.
I want to be dipped in honey and thrown to a pack of bikini models with low standards.

I know of a young man at my old hall that had a large brain tumor. The doctors refused to operate without a transfusion. He never got the surgery and died a few weeks later.

If They Found Out That You Were On This Board, What Would Happen?
by minimus inif the elders, certain family members or your "friends" knew that you frequented this board, what do you think would happen in your life?......personally, i think a jc would be imminent, and i am not talking about the coming of jesus christ, either.
-
LB
I had my face, real name and name of my old congregation on this board a year before I DAed myself. I know for a fact that members of my old hall read here. I never heard a word about it though. Then again the current witchunt wasn't in progress. I would assume that these days you'd end up DFed.

My Disfellowshipped Window Washer Is Going Back To Meetings Because Of The
by minimus inwar....he said bible prophecies are obviously being fulfilled and since war is imminent, it's time to get back into the "truth".
he went to his first meeting last sunday.
now, all he says he has to do is stop smoking, stop his pornography addiction, stop going out with prostitutes, start reading and researching more, and evidently, he has stopped engaging in homosexuality.

LB
So another repressed homosexual fornicating smoking JW. He'll be just fine there.

Meetingless Sundays: Guilt-Free ..... and Blissful!
by Room 215 inyup, i just reveled in another of these yesterday... what sheer, unalloyed pleasure!
sleeping an hour or so later, then shedding the pajamas for loose fitting clothes, enjoying a leisurely breakfast with several refills of the coffee mug; an unhurried hour or two with the sunday paper, then a walk with the dog, a short bike ride, a bit of desultory puttering around the garage and backyard; early dinner (or late lunch, however you care to classify it) and a peaceful retreat to easy chari and televiseion as night descends.. to think that unless they're unusually resourceful, proactive and resistant to the proddings of their conscience, an idyll of simple human pleasure like this -- a day of welcome respite and regeneration obviously intended by the creator for his human progeny when he legislated sabbaths-- is forever off limits to faithful dubbies.
sad indeed

The entire weekend is free now. No more guilt about skipping service or meetings. Or having to come up with lame excuses for missing them. But it took me awhile for that guilt to go away. Brainwashing is effective.

The U.S. already has the RIGHT to wage war on IRAQ
by starScream inwhether a u.s. lead invasion of iraq is necessary or not the united states has that right and here is why.
in 1990 the u.n. security council authorized the use of military force to expel the iraqi army from kuwait.
british and u.s. forces were the dominant contributors to the coalition.

star you're trying to use logic on a topic where those who use the largest font think they've won.
Logic vs emotion

What if Elizabeth Smart were one of Jehovah's Witnesses?
by Big Tex ini read in the paper this morning that the mormon church considers elizabeth smart to be "pure before god.
" i couldn't help but wonder if elizabeth smart were one of jehovah's witnesses, what the elders' reaction would be?
do they take the attitude that she was raped?

So the father of the pervert is also a pervert. Gee, hard to figure. Now while not favoring abortion I do favor retroactive abortion.

Gracie is it possible to do a slow fade? Are you thinking about a divorce? What do you really want to do? I know you've said that he's more of a good friend so is it divorce that would please you?
If you were to divorce and then fade I doubt you'd lose your parents. Unless they were totally anal, which some are of course.
