I have the best time running into Witnesses door to door. I was at my wife's uncle's home in Philly when I saw them working the street. Two brothers, one in his forties & one in his twenties came to talk to me. I told them I knew of their religion and had a few things I didn't understand. Had a great time with the older guy trying to defend 1914, their definition of a generation, the street work, etc. The older man was oblivious to losing every point, but the younger man was not. I hope I planted some seeds of doubt & that he gets out while young. If you get the chance, use it to free someone. View it as your moral responsibility.

it hasnt been long since i learn ttatt and when i totally woke up.

Hi John; I had a similar story. Father-in-law knew Rutherford personally. In laws were the JW elite. I was the hired hand. Married their daughter in 75 during "the scare." Just looking to survive; figured I'd learn to love her in Paradise just around the corner. Stayed with her 34 years. Finally found the love of my life & divorced her. I was trying to get back in but one of the elders told me outright that they needed to make an example out of me. I got pissed & read through C of C in two days. That was enough for me. Never looked back. Been out 8 yrs. I have a wonderful life. You will too. -

I think the slow death route is more likely. People who are apathetic are less likely to part with their hard earned cash and cash is what this cult runs on. Unfortunately they have plenty of that currently. I give them another 10 yrs. -

CAH closing down in upstate NY

they've been reducing the amount of congregations assigned to meet there and using the times when it isn't in use to make repairs.
elders have now been informed that they are selling off the property and buildings and that circuits would be assigned to attend other sites, twice as far, three or four hours away, like montreal.

I helped build this hall. Was in a corn field when it was built. Now it's in the middle of a housing tract. Love to know what the local JW's think about losing this hall. -

Either you are the one & true religion or not. As pointed out numerous times, the WBTS has either outright lied or were mistaken about their stance on doctrinal matters. When held up to the teachings of Jesus, they fall far short for being the " one & only true religion". As 1914 wasn't the beginning or ending of ANYTHING; you're just another manmade religion. The one true religion is not here yet... your not it.....we will grow old & die.... You've wasted your life sacrificed to a manmade religion....Everyone will come back....I'll personally be there to tell you I told you so........Have a nice day.
