  i was just reading the below article on theodore jaracz.

  Guy was mean spirited that's for certain. However, I would reserve saying he was a chicken hawk from one account. Usually the sexually depraved assault many children / women who for them are like a bag of potato chips. You can't have just one.

  it looks to me as though they are saying don't play at a higher level because your then in competition?

  so if i'm correct what if any bible scriptures can be used to back up this anti competitive idea and are there other scriptures showing the opposite?.

  King David would have a huge sad about the violin playing youngster. Do we think he made all those songs (psalms) to the tunes of crappy harp players? Do we believe there was no process to choose who would play music in the court of the King?

  JW spiritual music is devoid of any feeling and originality. Enough to make any omnipotent diety hearing it scream in agony.

  And how can one "down" competition while proclaiming the virtues of "running the race for life", the biggest competition there is? Isn't everyone trying to win that? You don't win if you don't compete.

  Poor kid. Hell end up a janitor making minimum wage when he could support himself using his skilled musical talent in a local orchestra.

  Why suck the joy out of every aspect of life?

  together through the great tribulation - come to jehovah's mountain.

  still awaiting solid confirmation though.

  Rutherford said those 7 blasts were fulfilled in the 7 conventions (Cedar Point anyone) back in the day when Jesus chose JWs to be 'special'.

  No worries, according to past "light" there's no real action going to happen they simply symbolize some talks from a platform. Depending on one's view, that's either a serious disappointment or a good thing in a laid back way.

  What, it's changing again?

  My new commentary is that we are living not in the "last days" but at the end of the 1000 year reign. Satan's about to be let loose (so no he wasn't in the smurfs) and the naughty will be in high gear drawing followers after themselves and away from Christ. Also, too, no petting large smelly wildlife surrounded by flies until after the naughty have disappeared forever ... and the flies.

  From what I know of him, he was like most GB members, quite individualistic and could care less about "the brothers" or their needs. A company man with no mercy or feeling. More concerned with appearances than substance. His wife? Just as unconcerned about anyone but herself. Most were glad when he died.

  i whiled away the time today in the wt researching the above question on line.

  it seems to me that there is more evidence to say that the account simply depicts the poor nameless child/woman as being toast.

  the idea of her going into "tabernacle service" is completely fabricated and has no basis in scripture.

  What I find odd about bible "scholars", particularly Christians, is that they never seem to ask the Jews about their own writings.

  Jepthah's daughter, the question posed of the lady who had seven husbands ( I know where that came from), the saying 'Where the dead body is there the vultures will gather.' (Where there's smoke there's fire. Ie, it will be obvious)

  Ya gotta ask stuff if you want to know the whole of what's going on/being said.

  as i am watching this video about changes at bethel, the speaker said, "aren't we glad the faithful and discrete slave continues to make adjustments when necessary.

  what about this change?

  See, that's your problem Greybeard. You got that thinking "disease"; that abomination which causes desolation. (I can jack up and misuse scriptures too, ☺) There's no understanding the incoherent, unreasonable, or insane.

  I am quite afraid for my JW relatives as the GB and the psycho drunks in Writing seem off their lithium and about to go full moonbat.
