When someone doesn't want "your version of truth" you get pissed. They absolutely must believe as you do or get chastised? WTH????!!!!!???

We had enough of those type of people already!!! Looking down on those who don't think as you do and jumping to convoluted conclusions. How friggin sad! "You must believe as I do! You must believe as I do!" Screw that!

You've become what you once were just on the opposite side of the straw. Funny thing is, you don't even see it.

Now THAT makes me laugh.

Forget it. You'll just get a slew of atheist responses. The GB makes people haters. It's not hard to understand why they (GB) do a better job than Satan. Who they espouse sucks to high hell.

hello forum.

i started this topic because i had been thinking recently about a story that i had heard many times in different congregations over the years.

kind of a jw urban legend if you will.

Yes, but I'm not certain who it was. God, Christ, an angel .... but I should be DEAD from several ambushes. When by myself, something told me, don't just run around the corner after that suspect ... some body was looking out for me. I should be dead. And I know it.

I did the dumbest stuff as a rookie police officer. I mean deadly DUMB that scared my supervisors and senior Officers.

That's all I have to say.

i left the watchtower organization almost 20 years ago but never abandoned my faith and belief in god.

i knew the gb/organization didn’t represent god, so when i lost my faith in them, i managed to keep my faith in an all wise benevolent creator.

If you don't believe in God, then you can't BLAME God. Yes or no? You can't blame the God of the Bible for being "cruel "because he doesn't exist to you ... si o no?

If you claim no God exists, then why say he's cruel? You don't believe he exists so the "cruelty" claim from him doesn't exist. One who doesn't exist can't be "cruel". He can't be anything. What are you ... CrAzY???!!!!???

You're just talking out your ass. Que puta madre!!!!! It's not convincing. You make no sense.

I like others here have decades of hanging around people (JWs) who make no f'ng sense. You've got to try harder on this subject.

For the rank and file, everything is Mosaic Law, fire, brimstone, and friggin' fear. Fear, fear, and more fear. If you are told Christ isn't your mediator too, then not a single bit of the NT blessings are for you ... and you aren't an Israelite, so the OT isn't for you either. The entire Bible isn't for you. Why bother under the JW "understanding"? There's no point.

The OP asked if there were any believers. If you aren't a believer, why pop in? Is it just to argue with those who are? Talk about "immature and irrational".

Yawn ... too many years as a JW makes you crazy.

1. Their emphasis on the Mosaic Law is irrelevant to Christians. It doesn't apply. They do it because that GB has decided Christ is only for a few, so the rest get Moses.

2. Whether you think the God of Israel is cruel is subjective. It depends on whether one was a Jew or a Gentile (particularly a Canaanite).

DJS, I think maybe you should re-read my posts. Not that I was even speaking to you in the first place.

Aside from that, maybe it's wise that you "grow up" and understand that I am not interested in your opinions on my beliefs. I walked away from a group of people such as yourself a long time ago. 😉

I'm free to post whatever I want whether you like it or not. Been doing so here for over 14 yrs. I'll believe what I want whether you, the WT, or the trash man doesn't like it.

You must have been an elder, talking down to others in such a manner. Btw, that was a nice long "I hate God" post you wrote. Well good for you.

Like I said Crofty, I don't subscribe to it as the Mosaic Law doesn't apply to Christians. It is finished. Also, you are mistaken about what I believe. To think every Christian believes Jesus Christ is God Almighty is your JW coming back. Squash that please.
