  the corporation is now giving many of you what you agreed to - a life of real poverty!.

  your poverty outside of bethel is a wee bit different from the poverty in "satan's world" - where you've just been thrown to fend for yourselves.

  ever noticed how co's and ex-do's never say thank you for the hard earned money they get from the friends?

  they truly believe they are entitled to live an easy life at the expense of others.

  this makes my blood boil!

  I never gave them any money. Christ, the Apostles, et al didn't mooch. They had regular jobs and supported themselves.

  "Leaders" don't mooch, CO's, DOs considered themselves 'leaders'. They certainly didn't consider themselves everyone else's equal.

  Need more funds, ask for a raise from the mothership.

  It's no different from the RCC. It excuses men while punishing women.

  God didn't allow Adam to get away with blaming Eve for their shit, nor was Adam given lesser punishment.

  Besides, you don't need to ask forgiveness of any human but the one involved in your offense. Uninvolved third parties are irrelevant, unless you refuse to apologize.

  That's good to hear. Singing praises is supposed to be joyous not melancholy like your at a friggin funeral.

  No one was ever happy because the entire environment was constantly depressing, including that sad sad organ (funeral) music.

  I really like what Russell said.

  The problem with JWs is they are not searching for "truth" because they claim to have already found it. For them the truth was just a lost set of keys now laying on the table. However, their keys keep changing.

  yesterday i had to listen to the co from a spanish congregation on the phone.

  he said the fds has been gradually moving away from the word "worldly" and teaching jws not to use the term anymore.

  has anyone heard this in their congregation or heard the term "non-believers" used before?

  Probably changing it because it's used as an insult in JWism. JWs hate "the world" while God loved "the world" enough to let his son be sacrificed for it.

  And who are JWs to call anyone who believes in Christ an unbeliever? No clue whatsoever of the point of the entire Bible or what the Apostles were charged with preaching.

  2 billion majority dirt poor people is such a drag for corporations. Their only "market value" is their labor. Children there don't have any ice cream money to fork over to WTBTS.

  it was always boring, and i was afraid that i was gonna get attacked by a dog.

  i actually almost got attacked by a rottweiler once.

  i didnt get paid for it, nobody listened to us, i actually had guys make passes at me while i was out doing street corner, i was always afraid i would get grouped and raped.

  You go out in FS because Rutherford was a (door to door) book salesman and that's how he paid for college. He didn't know how to do anything else and he needed to make money.

  The 70 Jesus sent out were all male. There is only one account of him doing so. The rest who went out and about did so because not many knew about Christ; their sole purpose was to tell everyone about him.

  FS is irrelevant in most countries today because people already know who Jesus is and what he did. They're waiting around for his second coming too.
