  i can't believe how many guys that have told me "oh i really really like you" or "i would never hurt you" <---- (my personal favorite) or just any other bull hooey that they just telll you to try to see how far they can get with you or whatever they want from you.

  i'm not even 18 yet and i'm already sick of it!

  DR, I used to feel the same way. Until I decided to stop dating them. I find men are great as friends, I just don't seem to mix well with them in relationships.

  Edited to add: I didn't even hit reply and the damn post posted! I wasn't finished! LOL

  What I wanted to say, is that I can't blame it all on the men. It was my fault to. I should't have believe everything they told me. Shame on me.

  is anyone else watching the awards.

  they still haven't announced the big winner yet, best movie, but so far, is it just me or they couldnt find anyone else to sing tonight?

  beyonce' can sing and everything but she's sung 2 songs so far tonight.

  I am so so very happy that Jaime Foxx got the best actor Oscar. I had my fingers crossed the whole time(as if he wouldn't get it if I didn't) I was so happy I cried when they called his name. I cried when I saw him on Oprah today to. All tears of joy.

  I found out today that we share the same birthday too. Not very many of us December 13th babies out there.

  1. married to a guy who's not really that great (history of having lotsa women, irresponsible) but seems to love/like your daughter.

  2. be gay (with woman who is quite good, responsible and everything but - a woman...).

  Sorry, Gotcha, I just now after reading more replies, realised that you were speaking about yourself.

  I say, live your life for YOU. If you live it only to please your parents, you will be miserable. Life is short enough as it is. Don't waste it, grab what ever happiness you can, while you can. Just my 2.

  even if u were sure she was just destroying herself....would u still want her to live and continue making a mess out of her life?

  I do not equate being gay as destroying their life or making a mess out of it. I'd think that trying to live a life just to please a parent or other family member would be what destroyed that person, rather than living a life that they felt happy with. Be honest with yourself. It isn't her destrying her life that is really bothering you is it? It's that fact that you do not feel comfortable with her choice. Am I correct?

  for all of you who followed my trial, and the diappointing results, will find this interesting.

  i have always felt that this story, the whole story, needed to be told.

  I was afraid of that. You can't always tell by the trailer. I love scarey movies but they just don't make them like they used to.
