I've heard that only the pain from childbirth can compare (in terms of intense pain in a short period of time)
My Dr. told me the pain is just as bad as having a heart attack. I've been through child birth and this was much worse imo.
so here's the deal and question...... .
about 9 years ago i had pain so bad it sent me to emergency to find out what was going on...needless to say they admitted me to find out what was going on because i had pain like this 3 times before but did not go to the hospital...i ended up going to the or to have my gall bladder removed and remained in the hospital for a total of 11 days....when all was said and done they said i was curred now and would never experince that kind of pain again... ( i was eating kfc when the pain started.
since then i have not touched the stuff) .

Rhonda, I always ask questions when someone is going to cut my body. Besides, health was my best subject in school. I've always been very inetrested in how the body functions.

I had my Gall Bladder take out over twelve years ago and have never had the pain again. The pain itself is caused when one of the stones gets stuck in the duct. If you have no Gall Bladder, you have no stones thefore the pain you are feeling is casued by something else.
Also, protien is what casues the Gall Bladder to make to much bile which causes the stones get stuck in the ducts. Peanut butter always set mine into action.
Morton Said: I ended up going to the OR to have my gull bladder removed and remained in the hospital for a total of 11 daysWOW, that was a really long time in the hospital. When I had mine taken out I was only in for two days. They said they had never seen anyone up and about so early after the surgery.
i can't help but notice a lot of crankiness on the board the past few days.
i say it's time for a group hug.. (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((jwd posters)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))).

GO VIKINGS! GO VIKINGS!
well , with so many posts about pets i thought i'd ask this question.
we have 3 great pyrenees dogs.
the oldest is 11yrs and the youngest is 4yrs old.
Nina, that puppy of yours is to cute for words! I'd love having one just like him.
i cant bring myself to get into voting.
i am registered, but when its time to vote, i just really never fell the urge to get there and get it done.
my husband is very political, and is always talking politics and about the importance of voting.
Believe it or not, this will be the first year I have ever voted. Even before I became a JW I never once voted because I had the silly idea that if I voted and the one I voted for won and then did a bad job, I would feel responsible because I voted for him. Well, not this year! I want my vote to count.
i am not a former jw, but my mother has been one for years and as you all know, that affected me as well.
i was raised catholic in a nice part of queens ny, and for the most part i never had a problem with my faith.
when i turned ten or so, my mother became entrenched in the jehova witnesses, and has not looked back since.
Welcome Jay!
.
you must lose one of your five senses.
which one do you give up?
Taste relies a lot on smell.. if you lose smell, you're going to lose a lot of taste too.. so.. I'd just choose taste.. and that's my final answer.
True, but just think of all the weight we could lose. If you can't see or taste food, you will be sure to only eat enough to survive.
